Nope, it's still there. Reddit on mobile is just dumb and doesn't explain things. It also can't tell the difference between a private sub and a deleted one.

This is an absoloutely amazing scam. Nine years in development, 300 million and not even a beta version of the game released and you still have smooth brains throwing money at it every day.

Meanwhile, Elite Dangerous just released player-commandable capital ships (Fleet Carriers) which effectively act as mobile, player-operated space stations, and space legs (i.e. the unique selling point of Star Citizen) is coming next year. And apparently the latter includes the ability to build one's own planetary bases as well.

I cannot even be mad or outraged at this whole mess. The people behind Star Citizen have created the perfect racket. Their "game" is a religion with devout cult followers that will exorbitantly fund the promise of receiving a perfect game that exists only in their minds and no matter how long they have to wait. Nobody is forcing them to be this gullible or to continually be funding this money pit of a project. If these dumbass paypigs want to continue funding this pipedream after nine years, go right ahead, it is a purgatory of their own choosing.
