The amount of money and effort needed to unfuck Haiti would be astronomical. The token relief efforts don't give very much long term help, especially considering how much aid is lost to corruption. I'd wager it's at last half, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it be higher than that.

Sadly, I have to wonder if something like a complete take over of the country might be their salvation.

Money would not fix the Haiti problems, unless that money went for a colonization involving ethnic cleansing, but doing that would be socially tricky.
maybe fund the Dominican Republic to help them annex and cleanse it the same way Haitians killed off their whites and mulattos.

in Conclusion, Haiti is a little Africa in the Americas. donating money in efforts to save it is as futile as trying to solve hunger in Africa by donating tons of food, which we've been doing for about 100 years now thanks to bleeding heart Christians and Humanists
 
The only way countries like Haiti will ever improve is by dramatically increasing the literacy rate and improving schools. The country is poor and dumb. Giving them handouts in the form of money and food won’t solve anything long term. Either invest in infrastructure or let them be because keeping them as a welfare state does nothing to help them. Really it only helps the ngos because they’re all corrupt as fuck and pocket the aid.

edit: This is why I don’t donate to many charities unless they’re education related and score highly. Meaning more money goes to helping people vs increasing the bank accounts of those who run the charity. As we know there are a ton of charity scams out there.

If I had to guess, I'd say he probably grew up in a mostly-white neighborhood and attended a series of lily-white private prep schools (and even there, he was likely considered kind of a dork).

Then he went off to some HBUC and realized he better blacken up quick if he wanted to score ANY pussy at all over the next four years. So all of a sudden, he starts raggin' on white people nonstop the same way that kid from middle school who was a MAJOR Hannah Montana fan back in seventh grade suddenly starts raggin' hard on Miley Cyrus once he reaches high school, in a desperate (and pitifully transparent) attempt to distance himself from his shameful, Disney Channel past.

Big boy, wannabe journalist Michael Harriot published a hit piece on a historian who pointed out the factual inaccuracies in the 1619 project (there are a lot, it’s a poorly sourced pile of crap).

Harriot tried to turn it into a racial issue by calling the historian white when he is in fact black. It’s been pointed out but not corrected by Michael or the root and no apologies either.

That’s about as much as you need to know that the root is not a serious publication, it’s tabloid trash much like Michael Harriot.

And, as white people are wont to do, Kirsanow framed his argument in the context of Martin Luther King Jr. White people love to quote King because he is a mythical figure who has been whitewashed by the very version of America that Kirsanow wants to perpetuate.

Especially when it's one that shows him to be a racist, who attributes certain traits to people solely based on race, so if he encounters anyone outside of that race with those traits (like preferring historical accuracy to revisionism) he just instantly assumes they're white and sticks to his guns regardless of how stupid he looks doing it.
