Or is it merely that those people stressed or worried might sweat more and neglect their personal hygiene?
Every woman I've met with anxiety was overweight and subsisted off diets with a large portion of fast food or greasy home cooking. They also all smoked weed. I'm sure that doesn't help body odor.

They also all smoked weed.
I used to be a pro legalize weed person. With weed becoming pert near legalized and with it becoming popular, I can't help but feel like like maybe legalizing it was a mistake. The type of people to smoke it are the most obnoxious people in the world, with maybe a minority of them being chill.
Also their argument that it "isn't bad for you" is false and stupid. When people wanted it legalized, it was because weed is just like tobacco and alcohol, as opposed to being compared to meth or heroin. Most people smoke weed and smoking weed is unhealthy for you, it's bad for your lungs. And obviously too much of anything fucks up your dopamine. You can't smoke it or eat it everyday and expect to feel great mentally.

I've tried it several times over the years, and I just don't understand its appeal. It seems to have no effects beyond making me stupid and hungry.

It also bizarrely seems to screw up my olfactory senses, so the food upon which I binge just tastes... bland. Perhaps this is why stoners with the munchies dump huge amounts of seasonings on their slop.

I am tempted to suggest that weed appeals only to dullards whom haven't got much brain to work with in the first place, but one of the smartest people I've ever known was a full-blown, wake-n-bake pothead for years.

I'd never considered this.

Do our pheromones change so markedly when we are stressed or worried? Or is it merely that those people stressed or worried might sweat more and neglect their personal hygiene?
With bad anxiety your pheromones change the same way as they do when you are really scared.
Then you sweat more because you are anxious or afraid and smell more.

This kind of odour is different from just bad hygiene, but it doesn't help that a lot of people with bad anxiety also have shitty hygiene that makes it worse.

It is a recognised phenomenon and it's recognised that it is contagious.
It's something to do with the apocrine gland.

Yes. It's from the apocrine gland. When anxious or fatigued you can smell it. It smells like sulfur or leeks. It'll still smell differently even when fit or thin - I used to get anxiety spells and would stress sweat a lot. The smell wasn't god awful but it wasn't pleasant. They make special deodorants for those who chronically get it.

Related to the point above, I'll occasionally smoke it (I normally use gummies or CBD oil) when needed to aid with anxious symptoms. It also helps with gastrointestinal issues for me personally; that said, it isn't for everyone. There are different species and strains that have varying effects. There are types that'll knock you right the fuck out and others that'll keep you focused but mellow. I prefer the latter.

It's also not recommended to smoke weed if you have psychotic disorders because it'll amplify the symptoms. If you personally are fine with taking it, fine, but treat it like any other drug. It may not cause schizophrenia but if you're schizo and you have never taken it under controlled conditions you'll have a nasty time.

They have some CBD strains that help with epilepsy. Again, YMMV. These individuals chronically take it on top of their SSRIs so they can't see any improvement. SSRIs are mood stabilizers. Marijuana is a downer. You're just going deeper into that hole. On top of that, they inherited those disorders from their parents so they got a bad luck of the draw. These people will never feel great mentally because shit was fried the moment they came out.

Why would you be eating while reading this thread, anyway? We all know how disgusting pooners are.

Perhaps our fellow Farmer has no choice but to deal with pooners regularly, and is attempting to gradually acclimate himself to their grossness, not unlike dipping ones toes into a cold lake.

But not as refreshing.

Witnessed a random pregnant pooner account on Instagram called mx.shylo who identified as "transmasc nonbinary."

I have as many LGBTQ phrases and keywords I can think of filtered/blocked yet I still get these on my dash. Makes me wonder if it even works.

If you ever find yourself on the pregnancy-related subs on reddit (which I found myself on recently after trying to do research for my sister), you'd be shocked at how many users claim to be FTM. Like if reddit were your only exposure to the world of maternity, you'd genuinely think a solid 1 in 10 (at least) pregnancies belonged to self-proclaimed "transmen".

Even worse is how many of them will jump through hoops to justify staying on HRT for as long/much as possible while pregnant purely for their own psychological "comfort", with zero regard for the potential health impacts on the fetus.

Sooooo I only learned this recently myself and feel obligated to pass it along: FTM in the context of pregnancy forums usually means First Time Mom.

True, but most of the ones I saw would clarify that they meant female-to-male (otherwise it was just assumed that it meant First Time Mom). So there's still a sizeable population of pooners on reddit who will get pregnant, continue to take HRT despite risks to the fetus, and then monopolize maternity spaces for endless attention and validation.

But garlic and fish is an exquisite combination of olfactory delight. I mean ... I'd cook it but I wouldn't wear it.

Everything needs to be more sallow, rotten and feature some compost and garbage. I want that, "juice of the bin" feel before I co-sign on this Eau de Poon
