Troons flooding their bodies with E are at risk for dementia. That's a known known. https://archive.ph/FaM5a
It also causes depression, but hey, it's still life saving healthcare!
Meanwhile, testosterone is assumed to be pretty good for female brains. In terms of memory and cognition for post menopausal ones, that is. Less brain fog is reported. It looks like we'll have to wait for pooner specific information there. There's plenty of unwitting lab rats larping about right now.
But meanwhile, pre menopausal women who have had their ovaries removed are at a very high risk for cognitive decline and dementia. That's a solid known known. So if you're a pooner who either voluntarily removed your female organs or trashed them by taking T, you could be setting yourself up for dementia later, regardless of the T brain benes.
Not that it really matters either way, but I wonder how much of the susceptibility to dementia is because of the wrong sex hormones, and how much of it is due to poor genes and having very weak, poor brain health to begin with.
Because you either have to be incredibly stupid or mentally ill to think that trooning out is a good idea in the first place, maybe having poor brain health in the first place is another risk factor for dementia?
