Ok this is one of my biggest issues with trannies. They are so desperate to be THE most oppressed. They ATTACK other oppressed groups rather than join in. /vent but ugh. As a woman, I can never in a million years see myself calling a gay man an AIDS incubator, just like I’m one of the few Kiwi Farmers who still says n-word (I tried, Kiwis. I’m too lib. I can’t). I’m gobsmacked by how the trans community is letting trenders destroy any goodwill they have ever gained. The trans community was making reasonable strides until the Tumblrinas got involved.

Imma stop you right there. The only "reasonable" thing to do for trans people is to get them on whatever therapy and meds it takes to shut down the thoughts of permanently mutilating themselves, surgically or chemically, for temporary sexual gratification. You’re referring to the Tumblrina trans movement. Some of you are too young to remember there were trans people before 2007, they were for the most part just interested in living their lives and fitting into society as best they could. There was no “YOU MUST CALL ME A WOMAN WITH MY BEARD”, there was actually trying to pass.

The current movement has actually turned the clock back for trannies to a time we can’t even consider. Like today we’re at a point where a man putting on a dress to play a role (drag queens) are considered automatic degenerates instead of like, literally what men have done since performance was a thing. That’s the end game of this “you must ignore your lying eyes or I’ll ruin your livelihood and everyone in it” trans movement of today. Because 75-80% of them aren’t actual trannies experiencing dysphoria, but entitled kids who can’t stand to share the spotlight with anyone. Almost everything they complain about as uniquely trans oppression comes from other group’s oppression. Trans men being raped has less to do with them being trans as them having pussies. Trans women get killed for having dicks because of homophobia. But try to be like “we all suffer and can fight together” and they come out with statistics why akcshually rape is trans men’s! Gay men don’t get beat for being gay, that’s transwoman!

15-20 years ago I was a tumblrite ally. I’m not kidding. They radicalized me. They don’t give a shit about me and my fellow women, why should I care about them?

Cross dressing as a gag is one thing but drag is inherently a weird sex thing in a lot of ways, that's why it's performed at bars and other adult venues.

There is no such thing as a "true trans" regardless of how polite they are and no such thing as a legit reason to cross dress.

No one holds onto the gender binary more than trannies who claim to be oppressed by it. Androgeny and cross dressing have been a thing outside of trannies forever. David Bowie, Motley Crue, Twisted Sister all people who eschewed the gender binary and cross dressed with no connection to (maybe some re Bowie) homosexuality and transness. We’re letting trannies dictate what’s acceptable in our culture, suddenly, because we forgot that it’s OURS and let them stake a claim. We’re letting them train our society that if you’re a man wearing lipstick you MUST be a woman.

I was not talking about for entertainment purposes (and to be purposefully controversial as performers often do). But in the realm of trannies and in the realm of daily wear. Perhaps I should have been more specific.

But yes, most cross dressing does stem from weird sexual hang ups. Regardless of whether you think it's obvious in the individual. There are more colors, patterns, and dandy styling you can play around with as a guy before you even begin to look at women's clothing. People only say otherwise to pretend there's more legitimacy to being exhibitionistic. That is what I meant by there being no legit reason to cross dress.

And to add on to historical actors cross dressing for the purposes of playing female characters since women themselves were banned from performing...well, they also used to castrate young boys with pretty voices to retain their higher register. To say nothing of how acting as a profession was viewed as similar to or lower than prostituting yourself until things like modern day Hollywood. Twisted Sister and the like deliberately dressed that way to be edgy and it was that way because people viewed doing so as degenerate and weird. Do you think edgy and boundary pushing performers wore these costumes because they genuinely happened to like them and that audience reception and controversy wasn't part of how they chose their personas???

I live in a town that is overrun with pooners, even if troons are very rare, here. Pooners are just as degenerate and mentally-ill as their MTF counterparts if not more so, except that they have not gotten the spotlight shone on them as much until relatively-recently. There are so many examples in this thread and elsewhere of the innate dysfunctionality of pooners and I can personally tell several tales of pooner neuroticism from pooner employees at previous jobs of mine. They made the lives of the normal female employees hell and they were always having histrionic temper tantrums over weird shit as they were very emotionally-unstable.

If pretending that you are something you are not and can never be, and even going so far to get yourself surgically carved up in an effort to pursue what is ultimately impossible is not mental illness, then I do not know what is. Being "trans" is a mental disorder and should be treated as such, not with HRT and a scalpel.

My verdict is it’s weird for a rando twitter account to demand to know what’s in a 16 year old’s pants. What a fucking tweet to send to a mother just talking about their child’s birthday.
