Has this thread and others likely inoculated you from the pooner social contagion that has become an epidemic at the moment? Outsiders not familiar with our forum like to bag on how "transphobic" threads like these are, but I think that they are actually a positive thing in helping keep people who read them grounded in reality and to stay away from hormone fuckery and the SRS chop-shop.

I already know that women can't become men and vice versa. Believing otherwise is insanity

To date no proof has been given that she reimbursed anyone.

Later some fans claimed out that Digoxin-purpurpea had been forced to delete their Hamilton RPF cannibal mermaid fic from AO3 by hivliving and her followers<a href="https://fanlore.org/wiki/What_happened_with_hivliving#cite_note-7">[7]</a> and that this may have been part of the motivation for their investigation. <a href="https://fanlore.org/wiki/What_happened_with_hivliving#cite_note-8">[8]</a> Others disagreed with this assessment.<a href="https://fanlore.org/wiki/What_happened_with_hivliving#cite_note-9">[9]</a> As of October 20, 2017 Digoxin-purpurpea's tumblr account and RPF fic have been deleted.

Members from Fail-Fandomanon reported that some of their participants had noted inconsistencies in blueskysapphic's statements and posts as early as October 2016. They also noted a pattern of claiming harassment by other fans based on their HIV+ status along with frequent call-out posts of her own against other fans based on a wide range of social justice issues.

• "To Scale The Blue Sky" is the Hamilton high school AU fic written by Israa (blueskysapphic). It is 170k long and features Alexander Hamilton as a high school student living with HIV in the 1980s. Yaoi experts show up here because female-focused fandom has been absolutely nuked by poonerism, possibly to a greater extent than male.

I never had a Tumblr account, and I only had a Reddit account for a couple of days (needed to contact someone in my town subreddit about their lost cat post), but I came here via lurking Tumblr, lurking r/Tumblrinaction (etc) and then lurking here for a few years. Lurked Tumblr to keep an eye on my fandom friends from elsewhere, then the Pooner Nation attacked.

Ao3 is only about 15 years old, and there's not much "community" there. There are comment sections under works, but no PM function by design; it's intended to store works from offsite fandoms. It's a lot like KF in that way: free speech absolutists who are super serious about archiving, but can't really be brought up in mixed company. Every couple of weeks Ao3 posts on the main page about another fanfic site that they're backing up; some obscure fandom with years of works, almost defunct now, and the admin/web ring owner wants to turn over the keys.

Told the story before, but I had a teenage phase of thinking I perhaps wasn't a girl because of normal self esteem issues, anxiety around growing up combined with stuff I'd read on Tumblr, but I knew I didn't want to become a boy and it was way back when the idea of "non binary" had barely left the internet and most doctors wouldn't even entertain the idea of a person wanting to be sexless/genderless, especially not a minor. It's wild how quickly the narrative seemed to flip, and now here I am simultaneously relieved nothing was done to me and worried for this next generation of socially awkward young women having all this pooner propaganda shoved in their faces.
