This was from a pooner who fists people on the regular, lies in her bed due to 'nerve pain', and wants 5000 British pounds for her PhD thesis. Also hates STEM while getting a STEM degree in ecology.

Here is a question for the girls/women in here, as I am guessing half or more of the users who read this thread are female. I am not, so I have no direct experience with this.

Has this thread and others likely inoculated you from the pooner social contagion that has become an epidemic at the moment? Outsiders not familiar with our forum like to bag on how "transphobic" threads like these are, but I think that they are actually a positive thing in helping keep people who read them grounded in reality and to stay away from hormone fuckery and the SRS chop-shop.

I ventured here  because I knew it was all horseshit for well over a decade and frankly I'm just a digital nomad now because all my autistic feminine hobbies in online spaces are filled with pooners now and I don't know what else to do besides come here to mock them.

This thread helped me deal with the grief I was feeling of trannyism taking over my online spaces though.

I grew out of the dumb politics that causes people to troon/poon out a long time ago, threads like this are just how I cope with a society that worships this shit. I’m sure our pooner threads do scare straight plenty of people though.

I think most KF women are too old to be swept up in the contagion--I know there are 35-year-old moms who flip out and become pooners, but for the most part it seems to strike women younger.

So if you want to reach awkward 11-year-old girls, it'll have to be something else. Maybe Null could host a reskinned, privacy-centered, free speech but with transphobic minigames Club Penguin.

It's just a flightless bird swap, after all. As more Farmers reproduce, there might even be a call for it.

Kiwifarms only strengthened my anti-trans stance. I already had these transphobic tendencies in the past, but I always rejected them because I believed in "true trans people" or "just want to live their lives." Also, my first online friends were Tifs, and I didn't want to be rude to them because I liked them, so I always respected their pronouns and was never open about being anti-trans. (What surprises me is that I meet a couple of requirements to have easily become a Tif, but it just didn't happen.)
Now all my empathy for trans people is gone. I don't care about them anymore, and I just want the troon madness to end.

If memory serves, women on KF aren't showing up from reddit, twitter, and tumblr. Sister sites like ovarit have been name dropped quite a lot. Anyone at risk of pooning out who shows up on KF arrives here because they've heard it's a hive of transphobes. Then again, we get a concerning number of yaoi experts in this thread. Somehow, a Ao3 to KF pipeline exists in baffling fashion.

All that said, I'd be curious to see how the typical KF'er finds this site. Mocking trannies brought me here, so there's a bit of an ideological presumption to even register for a site like this.

Not a woman, but I can guarantee you that most of the chicks here who know a good deal about yaoi went through a weeb phase where they were combing through AO3, FanFiction.net, and FictionPress while also coming up with cracked BL pairings in the mangas, animes, and TV shows they consumed for shits and giggles. Even divorced from a "yaoi" context, BL pairings can transcend anime/manga altogether and find weird places IRL. Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles were well-aware of the Wincest pairing in the Supernatural fandom and they took it like champs. "Larry" from One Direction, however, caused a ton of discomfort and tension between Louis and Harry during a time when the band as a whole were already being mocked for being kinda fruity and looking gay.

I discovered Kiwifarms years ago while searching for examples of SJW art because at that point I was no longer using Tumblr, and the search led me directly to this place, specifically the SJW art thread.
And you're right, the ideological leanings were there, which is why I continued to frequent this site.

Female centric nerdy spaces are full of the shit. It's opt out essentially. Fanfic drama was my first personal lolcows to watch. I remember fondly Snapewives lore and stuff like that one girl that pretended to be a POC with STDs to write Hamilton fanfic with a bunch of the characters having HIV or something. It's a special kind of crazy.
