the features sound nice and all (especially the fact that the modern controls resemble the Legend trilogy), but the fact that they STILL aren't showing further gameplay, less than a month before release.....

This alone makes me feel nervous. The fact that Crystal (and even Embracer) had shown limited gameplay could go either way, it can be good or it can be total shit.

Graphics don't look half bad and I like the updated Lara model. Might be worth keeping an eye on.

And they also didn't remove the dual pistols, unlike what Squeenix did during the 2010s

And that's the thing, I'm not holding my breath. If it is a good remaster, then we might have some higher hopes for Embracer for what they're doing with Eidos/CD
 
I guess I'll double post for one final time as I can't keep bumping this thread for updates. My spergout out of the way, here's some rumor of a remastered version of IV
 
Two days out from release, we FINALLY have extended gameplay footage - this is of the Switch version:
....and it actually looks like they delivered?! Consider me cautiously optimistic about this now! We'll see fully come Wednesday

Looking at the gameplay footage and cutscenes, yes Embracer seems to really care about this. I'm hoping the game does end up being good by the time I play it
 
Really looking forward to this. More than any other game announcement this year. Haven’t played any of these titles since having them on PS1 back in the day, nothing g but good memories. Going to see if if the New Zealand trick works on the Xbox to get nostalgic ahead of the curve tomorrow, that’s about mid day Uk time.
