Anyone own or read the Simpsons comics from back in their heyday? I remember in my middle school, they used to sell these in the book fair. It was a fun read.

You can definitely tell that whoever came up with that scene has actually done acid lol, it's just too perfect lol

Fair enough. As a kid, I just assumed that 'water' was beer. But as an adult alcoholic, I can assure you that beer doesn't work that way. I've never tried acid myself (maybe I should).

To avoid any controversy (children taking psychedelic drugs) it was just some swamp beer. Just think of the old saying "Seeing pink elephants."

But truly it's apparent Lisa had a bad acid trip. Hell she even proclaims herself The Lizard Queen ala Jim Morrison.

Funny how all of Matt groening's shows start off strong (or at least OK in disenchantment's case) the slowly but surely lose quality as they go on. We all know how Simpsons went, futurama started strong was starting to show cracks in the hull toward the end but At least it knew when to call it a day. Disenchantment is... an odd beast very love it or hate it as is but I can't imagine how it could get if it starts to go downhill too.
