I remember one "future" episode from a few years ago where they made a joke that implied Bart got a blowjob from Miss Hoover. I felt like my childhood had been molested.
Should've been Miss Krabappel.

I love when the show retcons its own arcs.Tonight's episode:
Homer and Marge are stunned at Artie Ziff's wedding and immediately become uncomfortable upon learning that his future bride is a clone of Marge; Lisa garners newfound popularity due to her braces and confronts its misogynistic implications.
A-Plot sounds like a Halloween episode. B Plot sounds like absolute dogshit.

Go back to /tv/, faggot.after Tomacco episode.
I think I'd be surprised if there isn't an episode where the Simpsons go with Mars One and Elon Musk is a guest star.
At least they're playing with the idea that it's an odd mix.https://youtube.com/watch?v=qgEQLB0wDLw
This just feels so wrong...

The show never cared much about continuity from the offset (it is a sitcom after all). But most fans tend to agree it was The Principal and the Pauper that served as the first "Fuck you" to the loose continuity they had. It only managed to get worse from there. When did the Simpsons writers start giving the middle finger to the old continuity? Was that Homer and Marge in 90s college 1st?
I heard there was one new episode where Bart and Lisa don't know what a CRT TV is when they see one in a dump, ignoring that the family had a CRT TV for at least the first 10 seasons. It only managed to get worse from there.

I'll never get over when Bart didn't know who Beavis and Butt-head were despite The Simpsons predating and outlasting that show.I heard there was one new episode where Bart and Lisa don't know what a CRT TV is when they see one in a dump, ignoring that the family had a CRT TV for at least the first 10 seasons.
And that's despite being made to watch The Happy Little Elves. There was one where they pretended to not know what a VCR was too.
There was the "Butt-Head Memorial Auditorium" the kids named.Beavis and Butt-head

Remember when the show would make fun of Ren and Stimpy?
Grampa's whole speech about no longer being "with it" applies more and more to the show itself with each passing year.Homerpalooza was on the other day and now I'm horrified that at this point, the kids would have been bitching about Homer playing the bands that appeared as guests in that episode.
