Ah, there's an interesting story behind this nickel. In 1957, I remember it was, I got up in the morning and made myself a piece of toast. I set the toaster to three: medium brown.
 
So I saw my first new episode of the Simpsons in nearly a decade. (It was the recent Christmas episode) and my only takeaway is wow, Julie Kavner's voice is totally shot at this point. I guess talking like that for 31 years takes its toll.

That's the reason Marge's mom was effectively written out of the show. She couldn't do the voice anymore.
