Rate me late if I am but looking at the Simpsons Archiveit looks there might be stuff up to Season 21? (the numbers for seasons 14 to 21 show up as working)

I think they have the episodes listed, but I don't think they have any new capsules and haven't in years.

Dankmus is a gem and Dark Simpsons is pure dark kino. I honestly hope the guy who makes Dark Simpsons eventually manages to do better edits on par with the shitposting videos. Then we can truly start seeing some shit that'll blow Zombie Simpsons out of the water and launch their carcass straight into space.

Holy shit that's beyond dark, it's straight up depressing

"Simpson? Look, we've already been down there tonight for a sisterectomy, a case of severe butt rot, and a leprechaun fight. How dumb do you think we are?" [click]

So nothing of value would be lost if they remove it, they need to bring back Back To the Future tbh.

I'm glad I went before they remove it. I went to the one in Florida and I don't know if it's different in California or not.

Hey fucktards.

I've been disinterested with this show, but I have caught up on the past two episodes. Those being Thanksgiving of Horror and Todd, Todd, Why Hast Thou Forsaken Me?

Thanksgiving of Horror
was certainly better than this year's Treehouse of Horror. 4/10, I'd say. It was not funny, but all of the segments (maybe barring the third) were a little interesting. They were more interesting than funny though. The first segment was the best because it was just Homer and the family as turkeys running away from Chief Wiggum. The animation is pretty good, but the comedy is nonexistent. The second segment is pretty boring in terms of humor, but it's interesting because an ai version of Marge, meant to cook Thanksgiving, falls for Homer, and real Marge is jealous. The last segment is pretty much the worst one. It's not even interesting. The only funny moment is Martin Prince DYING through saying "I giveth my body to become one with the ideal ehgshgahgh" because Russi Taylor died and this is the final role for Martin in the show. This episode also made me realize that something about Homer's voice feels very tired. Like every time Dan does it now, it feels tired. He can still do it, but it's tired. The episode as a whole is better than TOH,

As for the other episode, it was...better? Not by much. It feels kind of like an episode that they did to focus on other characters, via the Flanders, but they shoved Homer and the other Simpsons to convolute and conflict with the development of Todd. You saw some perspective of Todd developing grand disbelief of God, but most of it is just antics surrounding Todd living with the Simpsons and then eventually Homer and Flanders getting drunk together for some reason...and I don't really care about the other details. Eh. I'll probably forget about this one like I do with most Simpletons episodes. Same rating, 4/10.

A week or so ago, a couple of the golden age episodes came on fox. And I have to say, it's an entirely different show at this point. Not even Futurama had that noticeable a drop in quality after CC bought it out, despite dropping off in quality. The weaker futurama episodes at least had a decent amount of shining moments when it wasn't a episode that focused on fry and leelas relationship and even those could have some funny moments. Hell even with regular show where some of the weaker episodes weren't that amazing, the only one I could say I truly disliked was Replaced.

In my country we difference the best episodes from the bad ones just by the voice actor of Homer. The latter gave charm and was perfect, but at the time of season 9/10 he died, his last episode was the laughs behind curtains, his last line was ''this is the last season'' or something, kinda uncanny to be honest. The new voice actor fits Homer's personality too, but at the newer Simpsons seasons you can hear how much done he is with the show. He obviously likes his job and is a fan of the show too, it is heartbreaking to know that his voice is the one used for the shittier seasons.
This show is still a cultural phenomenon, all the time we are referencing, saying lines and even doing cosplays of it, although nobody watch the new seasons, too shit for our taste.
I wonder whether it will be the new SNL or it will be cancelled during my lifetime. I think that it will end when I'm old and in the ICU.

Oh and this also gives modern family guy somewhat of an edge, but imo the show is extremely self aware of how unoriginal it is. The simpsons crossover was pretty much the writers admitting family guy is a simpsons ripoff.

Yean and the best part of that crossover is when Homer and Peter fall in the Springfield gorge.

I got to say, for all the shit this crossover gets, there's two things I do like about it:
1. How over the top the fight between Homer and Peter is.
2. The slight difference in animation quality between the Griffins and the town of Springfield is a nice touch considering The Simpsons tends to use more angles and inbetween frames than FG does.

I liked the bit with Bart and Stewie prank calling Moe.

"Hey Moe, your sister's being raped!"

Then again, I was the only one in the theater laughing at the nock nock joke in Joker.

I don’t know how many people would agree with me here, but I actually think that, of the more recent episodes, “Barthood” would have made an okay finale. It wouldn’t undo the decade and a half of garbage that came before it, and some people may argue that it wouldn’t be an appropriate sendoff, but to be honest I actually enjoyed that episode more than the movie it was parodying, which was basically two and a half hours of nothing happening.
