Come on Millhouse there's no such thing as a soul. It's just something parents make up to scare their kids like the bogeyman or Micheal Jackson.

Here's an article that you don't have to pay for: https://mashable.com/article/the-simpsons-michael-jackson-episode-pulled/#uPrzd107EZqR

I don't know if Michael Jackson actually did what he's been accused of, and it's not like he can defend himself now. If the allegations are ever proven true without a shadow of a doubt, I know I wouldn't be able to look at this episode or other things involving Jackson the same way, but they are just accusations and with the guy being dead we're probably never going to know the truth. I don't really agree with pulling the episode when nothing's certain, but I can understand why they'd want to stay out of the controversy. Then again, it's a really old episode and no one should care that much.

It's just hilarious how people today don't know how to separate the work from the person. If MJ actually molested children during the voice recording of the show, then I guess it's understandable to pull it from existence, but pulling it because of mere allegations? Dude. Really, if we're gonna wipe from existence every creative work that's made by a "problematic" creator, we'd probably be deleting a third of all TV shows and movies minimum. So many people worked on those that some of them has got to have their own dark secrets, be it a Hollywood power-broker or some random key grip personnel.

This flaying of a dead MJ through allegations is even made worse by the fact that Hollywood has long been defending Roman Polanski, a guy who actually admitted to plying a 13-year old with alcohol and drugs then had sex with her (he says consensual, victim says rape - probs rape because Polanski used sedatives on her). Talk about pure and sheer hypocrisy.

Had my favorite moment when Marge tries to call the place and is put in hold and they play "Crazy" over the phone! This gag was used several times in season three whenever they had them on the phone and something ironically appropriate plays while on hold!

You just know the Season Three DVD Box will soar price-wise because of this.

There's always the "arr, matey" copies floating around, too, if you're just meaning to watch it.

They had no problem throwing shade on Michael Jackson when the show was actually good.

Now all the Simpsons can do to generate news is virtue signal.

Are they going to write Ralph Wiggum out of the show since it's wrong to make fun of developmentally challenged kids?

No. They know that Ralph gives them that good meme filler.

Also, Ralph didn't become a complete dumbass until Zombie Simpsons was in full swing....

What does "pull from circulation" mean with that Michael Jackson episode? Of course it means it won't air anymore, but will it no longer be available on media like DVD?

And since when did people start censoring a work of someone because of their character -- even when it has no bearing on the work?
