Watched a shitty Vice documentary on The Simpsons and it pretty much sums up why the The Simpsons suck so much now. I don't recommend it repeats the same shit over and over and is woke. First Episode is on youtube:

Through my research I have found out that Icons unearched was remade into behind the simpsons very recently but was not as well recieved and seems to be relatively obscure.
The only reason why i know its a remake is because of the did you know sectionss of the original Vice documentaries on IMBD.
I haven't watched either but when looking at their episode list, I noticed it has the same problem that alot of Simpsons history as seen with Ortved in The Simpsons: An Uncensored, Unauthorized History as well as more recently, Dave Lee's video where a majority of the discussion is focussed on the 90's, especially the early to mid 90's.
I understand why this is often the case such as the show already becoming stagnant and unevolving by the 2000's, noticeably less coverage and interviews for the period and the lost in interests due to the decline of the show itself.
At the same time, however, it doesn't change the fact that every chapter until around chapter 17, the second to last chapter in the entire book, is abolut the 90's.
Icons Unearthed spends 4 episodes on what made the pre Bill and Oakley years what it is and its history and everythiong else after that be episode 5 and then 6 jut be about how influencial it is and merchandise years after the 90's.
Dave Lee is better but even with him, he spends around 46 and a half minutes just talking about the early 80's and 90's, then spends only around 17 minutes on the 2000s and 2010's combined with the last 3 being on it's legacy and doesnt namee or say amnthing withj a fewe exeptions that lateer episodes are known for or what they braught to the series..
I have a similar probklems with talking about how thee show itself is categorized. For example while Deeadhomersociety saying that the zombie years iss seasons 12 and over may have made more sense back then but now there have been so much more that I just don't think it makes sense to have decades be just one era while the 90's had multiple and the seasons after season 12 a\lso brought their own changes to the series and helped it decline even more. similarily if we go by showrunners we see that since the 2000's untill rrecently it has just been one meaning it doesn't actually show th show's uality, popularity or insidde stuff 100%.
