With these recent episodes, it's abundantly clear that the Simpons only still airs for the sake of stroking celebrity egos, since I've never seen a show that kisses this much celebrity ass before.

I'd also like to mention that Lisa should not be crying tears of joy over getting to jam with Billie Eilish. She's expressed her distaste for pop music a fair few times in the past.

Yep the Simpsons is like punk rock. They used to mock and make fun of the establishment but now kiss up to and suck off the establishment.

They made fun of Bill Clinton before it was cool to do it. In fact they are famous for being the first show to mock a sitting president. But now will only touch the ones they disagree with.

Really crazy how far they went down.

The fact they actually created a short to tell a president to fuck off (George Bush Sr) after he insulted them is only beaten by Beyond The Fringe outright mocking Harold Macmillan to his face during a live performance.

Now that someone brought up the AOC video, I need to talk about something sus that I have not seen anyone bring up before. People all the time talk about how the Simpsons predicted Trump but to me this is even more strange. At the end when the Democratic candidates are dancing, Biden and Kamala are in the center.

Trump falls down and then it pans to Biden in the front and Kamala in the back, while Biden roasts Trump as if he defeated him. Now keep in mind this was posted in August 20th 2019 and this is honestly kind of creepy. At the time no one expected Biden to be the one who would be the 2020 president, and Kamala embarrassed herself early on. Kamala also called Biden a racist so why the heck would they be next to each other like this? Kamala was a big shock when she was announced because people thought she would be very low on the list for VP choices, in fact when people theorized no one even considered her. It's almost like they somehow knew Biden would end up President and Kamala would be Vice President. Look, it may be kind of schizo but the fact the people theorize that Matt Groening is in "the know". You have to admit it's kind of too on the nose.

If anyone said in 2019 that these two would be President and VP, people would have highly doubted that.

Also smaller note but Biden and Kamala's inauguration uniforms are suspiciously similar too. But this part isn't my main point, just something I noticed. It might be just because blue=Democrat.

Lisa's modern pop celeb worship is an unforeseen consequence of losing Bleeding Gums Murphy.

She has lost her way completely.

 
Personally I think the modern day Shitsons is not woke enough. Lisa linked up with Lady Gaga and this Billy Idolish (is she Billy Idol's daughter?), both thin white cisgendered women.

I think it'd be far more interesting to have Lisa team up with Lizzo with her planetary sized ass bringing Homer's fat body to shame. And Lizzo plays the flute which compliments the sax.

She really has, also clips like this is a good memory refresher that Lisa used to not be an insufferable character.


But yeah she really has become something a lot worse. Lisa loves big corporations and monopolies now too.

To be fair it's not like they had any say on the Disney acquisition. And they've been champagne socialists for the last 3 decades and counting.

Well the Simpsons is all about worshiping celebrities and big corporations nowadays. So of course the most insufferable brat whose meant to be seen as the most rational would love it.
