I enjoy watching sports well enough, I guess. Not Football in particular, sure, but I can understand enjoying the game.

But I can't imagine ever giving this much of a shit about fucking contracts and trades and which nigger is getting the fattest wad of nigger cash. Literally why do people give two fucks? Why is this important? I just don't get it.

I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, but I also haven't been watching the NFL for a long time, except in hotel rooms and YouTube clips, due to not having cable TV. Can somebody explain to me why this is a bad deal for the Cowboys?
He's the 2nd best Edge behind Garrett but 4 years younger, which is the premiere defensive position in the NFL. He hasn't had serious injuries , is incredibly consistent and has basically averaged 1 sack a game and at least 2 hits. He's on pace to be a top-10 all time sack leader. This is the defensive equivalent of getting rid of a franchise quarterback. Unless there's a serious injury or dropoff in productivity, this could be viewed as one of the larger trade blunders of the decade. Not a Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson level miss, but the equivalent of trading a Julius Peppers like player when he still has 10 years left in the tank.

Contract terms, I agree, it doesn't matter how well you pay a player so long as they perform.

But trades or free agency aquisitions? Mountain of difference. Saquon Barkley is the difference between the Eagles collapsing midseason in 2023-2024 with an early playoff exit and them literally raping Patrick Mahomes in a Super Bowl for the history books the following season.

Whats the worst team in NFL history?
That’s a tricky question to answer because there’s several ways you can measure how “bad” a team is. Most lost games, least money earned, lack of fan interest, etc. There’s also bias depending where you live.

Oakland (erm Las Vegas) Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and the Detroit Lions are traditionally pretty bad (Lions and Browns are undergoing a minor renaissance). Cowboys USED to be good, but are making bad business decisions. Then you have teams that exude apathy like Chargers (except last season) and the Vikings. I’ll admit my NFL team understanding is normie-tier and a decade out of date…

Also happy 800+ pages. Everyone give thanks to the increased traffic pushing us into the end zone milestone!

I always thought that every state had its own team, it turns out thats not true and some states even have multiple. I just figured that there were teams that nobody talked about for some states because they were really bad, like the Nebraska Wombats or something like that.

Depends by what Metric you're judging by, but in terms of "recent" (ie last 20 or so years) success, I think it's indisputable the New "York" Jets (Both them and the Giants share a stadium that's in New Jersey) are probably the worst performing team in football, and probably will continue to be until there is a change in ownership.

The Browns are a close second for similar reasons, and have only made the playoffs a handful of times in recent years because of Baker Mayfield (PBUH), and their rapist starting QB getting injured and replaced by elite, Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco filing in late in the season.

I'm supposed to be a Patriots fan, but instead I came here to say 2 things

BROONS

/hoc/ won.

WTF, why is this NFL thread being feature?!
is the player a Kiwifarms user, a lolcow, tranny,
I dont get it
The owner is a lolcow who involves himself too much in the operation of his team, and he's lost the team's best player in a very lopsided trade because of it.
I could go on at length about the absurdities of the Jerry Jones Cowboys, but that's the gist of it.

for those of you wondering why this is Feature Worthy, this is what Micah Parsons looks like
