Aw sweet, this place has NFL discussion. I don't have a particular favorite team, I just enjoy the sport as a whole, as an American tradition. Since last year I've fluctuated between Eagles and Bills accidental Northeasterner selfdox geg, and I'm really happy the birds cockblocked the Chiefs out of a Super Bowl 3-peat, not only because of how brutal the paddling was, but because it was in front of Taylor Swift as well, to add insult to injury. The Cowboys were a "dynasty" (If you're not familiar with Sportsball terminology, basically a team that has won or contended for multiple championships for a few years in a row) in the 90s, and Jerry Jones, the surprisingly not Jewish owner capitalized on their success and turned the franchise in to more of a brand than a sports team.

They haven't done shit since before 9/11, and haven't even sniffed an NFC Championship game (essentially the pre-requisite to a Superbowl appearance) since then, but the marketing machine of the Cowboys has largely made them out to be a much bigger deal than they are so people resent the media coverage of them.
