Sports are loved by people because they played them as kids and teens, and they are excellent ways of teaching work ethic, team cooperation (good for preventing you from becoming an asocial loser) and of honing the male competitive drive into something productive. The reason all of your normie coworkers talk about them is because playing sports as a teenager is a sure fire way to becoming a healthy adult with good social skills, an athletic build, and no problem getting a girlfriend.

You’ve got those things too, right anon? You wouldn’t happen to have any issues with getting them would you?

Aw sweet, this place has NFL discussion. I don't have a particular favorite team, I just enjoy the sport as a whole, as an American tradition. Since last year I've fluctuated between Eagles and Bills accidental Northeasterner selfdox geg, and I'm really happy the birds cockblocked the Chiefs out of a Super Bowl 3-peat, not only because of how brutal the paddling was, but because it was in front of Taylor Swift as well, to add insult to injury. As a fmr. high school wrestler I recognize the value of playing sports at a young age and how it builds character, and I think that anyone who says gay shit like "sportsball" is a gay, un-American, communist probably, loser mcdorkadoofus rex.

Can someone explain this to me in lolcow terminology?
The Tranch, claiming they’re on the rise legitimately, traded the only good ranch hand they had to a group of c-tier alpacas farmers, as the old, decrepit leader of The Tranch, who only continues to live in spite of God, continues to kill any chance of success for The Tranch.

This is exactly why I featured the thread. On another note, no one is obligated to post in a featured thread if said thread doesn't interest them.

As much as I hate Jerry Jones, I kind of feel bad thinking about him as a lolcow, since he's probably fucking senile at this point. I sort of felt that way about Biden too, like it wasn't funny, it was just depressing. Maybe it's just me, but old people being retarded is sort of eerie.

Thank you for clarifying why people like sportsball.

I myself never played, but my family was big into Philly sports and I was drafted into this retard war in the McNabb era. Go Birds and I hope a few cowboys fans are contemplating suicide tonight, glad the aggregate userbase was exposed to this deep cut sports autism @Trombonista

Hey I hope im not shitting it up here but while im not a football fan, what id like to know is why do people seem to either vehemently hate the Cowboys or love them to death? My family are all Cowboys fans hard-core and though I never got into it, if there was any team id root for, due to my upbringing it'd probably be them. Just curious.

Why was this featured and not the niggerfaggot switching teams from Mercedes to Ferrari? F1 is much more poplar and important than American football.

Probably because this is an American website. It would be like if I go into a racing thread and say that speeding in traffic isn’t a real sport.

I love sports and watching Jerry Jone, trying to skirt around why he releases players, by saying they don’t fit the Cowboys’ model instead of just saying he doesn’t like niggers.

All the nigger cattle who watch niggers crash into each other can bitch about how much that nigger makes more than all of them and their kin will ever make. Honestly only boomers watch this shit anymore I hope all these famous sports fucking die when boomers go into the great beyond. its just a jewish ponzi scheme. Grown men walking around with another mans name on their back. what an utter fucking joke commercial sports and its fans have become.

The Cowboys were a "dynasty" (If you're not familiar with Sportsball terminology, basically a team that has won or contended for multiple championships for a few years in a row) in the 90s, and Jerry Jones, the surprisingly not Jewish owner capitalized on their success and turned the franchise in to more of a brand than a sports team.

They haven't done shit since before 9/11, and haven't even sniffed an NFC Championship game (essentially the pre-requisite to a Superbowl appearance) since then, but the marketing machine of the Cowboys has largely made them out to be a much bigger deal than they are so people resent the media coverage of them.
