Fun fact of the day: Andy Dalton now has as many multi-touchdown games for the Panthers as Bryce Young does. Bryce has started 18 games for them, Dalton's started two. This is with the same personnel and playbook as Young, by the way.

Everything around Bryce was significantly improved this year and yet he looks even worse than last year... somehow. He has the most broken mechanics I've ever seen, making Zach Wilson look great in comparison. He's an irredeemably bad player and the fact the media spent all of last week defending this guy is fucking comical.

His dropback was a mess even in college, but NFL scouts tend to be like "oh we can fix him with our pro-level coaching staff"

Unfortunately it's the Panthers. He came into the league bad and they actually made him worse.

I dislike the Cowboys, but holy fuck taunting is the gayest fucking penalty ever. Fuck off with that shit. If you smoke your coverage and the safety you should be able to dab on them. CD didn't even do that.

This game is so frustrating. For starters, all of the penalties in the first half ... That got really annoying really fast ... Damn.

The Giants offense has dominated the clock with possession of the ball, but they can't score a fucking touchdown. They have only needed to punt once, too ... It's just all FGs. Can't score a TD to save their lives right now, and they're probably going to lose because of it.

The Giants continue to be their own worst enemies. Sad, because I'm actually seeing lots of improvements tonight.

I'll give it to the Giants, keeping it this close with just FGs is pretty impressive. Not sure if the takeaway from tonight should be the Giants are getting better, or the Cowboys are so bad they can barely even beat the fucking Giants.

NFC East games are often competitive, regardless of the quality of the teams for some reason.

Plus, both can be true. The Giants are playing better and the Cowboys are predictably not as good as they are always hyped to be. lol.

I think after the Commies beat them by only scoring Field Goals, they wanted to see if they could do the same. The fact they tried this against the Cowgirls, and it nearly fucking worked, is probably more damning against Jerruh's Boys than Danny Derps magically getting gud. Though after their off-season and seeing what Jerruh called "All In", I have to wonder how many of them are just coasting and collecting cheques...

Also, because I invoked my team, apparently the Commies found the only good QB this draft - knocking on wood now that I've said that - , cause I didn't realize they went back-to-back games scoring on every single drive, or how rare that apparently is in the NFL...

If Malik Nabers wasn't wearing a mouth guard, he deserves every minute of the multiple weeks he's going to be in concussion protocol. He was out cold the moment his facemask hit the ground.

It's just all FGs
It was more frustrating that most of those FG's were due to Jones just completely missing his mark or them not being able to run for more than a yard. You have my sympathy.
If it's any consolation, your G-men at least hit all the field goals. Packers have lost a few because we can't get a fucking kicker to hit consistently even on 30-40 yards or even extra points some times recently (yes I am mad about this still and I fear it will cause a horrible playoff loss).

Preaching to the choir here, haha.

From day 1, I haven't been on board with Daniel Jones. I got so much shit for it back in 2019, but right now I'm experiencing my "I told you so!" tour to my fellow Giants fans. And trust me, it doesn't feel good to say "I told you so." I wanted to be wrong about him, and I am STILL cheering for my team to win and do better ... I just don't see it happening anytime soon if things stay the way they are.

5 years later, and I still can't get over that stupid-ass, unearned "Danny Dimes" nickname he got when he first became a starter. I can't believe people were so quick to jump on that hype train. The second I first heard that nickname, my mind immediately went to Johnny Manziel's "Johnny Football" nickname, lol. Red flags ... Red flags everywhere!

Maybe Daniel Jones would be a different QB right now had the Giants not rushed Eli Manning into retirement. Jones was clearly not ready for primetime in 2019, yet the Giants made a move of desperation to thrust him into the spotlight right away. What Jones needed was a "Brett Favre to Aaron Rodgers" approach, with him spending his first year or two under Eli's wing (or at least until Eli's contract was done). He needed a veteran QB to show him the ropes. That ship has long since sailed though.

As it is right now, Daniel Jones perpetually looks like a deer caught in the headlights. He looks flustered and scared all of the time, and I'm sick of seeing his stupid face at this point.

To quote The Golden Girls, Daniel Jones "looks as jumpy as a virgin at a prison rodeo."

With how close the games end up being, plus the stakes, would you consider Bengals-Chiefs the new Colts-Pats?

I wouldn't consider that at all. At least the Colts and Patriots, for a long time, were constant playoff favorites. The Bengals haven't been favorable for a long time, they just recently got back into a winning formula. While I think the Bengals-Chiefs rivalry is decent, it is nowhere near Colts-Patriots.

Yeah let's see Cinci keep Mahomes out of the AFC championship a few more times before crowning this the new Colts-Patriots. They've only done it the one time.
