"Who in the hell is Mel Kiper anyways? Mel kiper has no more credentials to do what he's doing than my neighbor! my neighbors a postman! and he doesnt even have season tickets to the NFL!"
Seriously though, when it cuts back to everyone on the get up set they all look like they're sitting through their grandfather rant about the korean war (which he didnt even fight in, he was a cook in Kentucky). Why do they even let this retarded boomer on TV anymore. Does anyone take him seriously? Even in the draft the whole talking point around him is how wrong he is.
Honestly the resurgence of the run game has been refreshing IMO. When I played football as a kid the only system we ran from peewee up to varsity football that we ran was the power T, or simply just the T offense. And I grew up watching Big 10 football and Im a Lions fan, so running backs have a special place in my heart. I hate to sound like a chud/fudd/boomer, but passing the ball is complicated and complex. Not to say run schemes cant be, but when you have a player like Derek Henry or Barry Sanders, LaDainian Tomlinson, Saquan Barkley, Jim Brown, Adrian Peterson, etc, etc. The plays to a certain point simply boil down to 4 steps:
1. Snap ball.
2. Hand ball to unstoppable force.
3. ...
4. Profit!
I mean the entirety of the Lions offense in the 90's was just handing the ball to Barry and hoping he broke a tackle for a touchdown. We dont need to ban the 2 high safety.
JUST RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!
