We'll see how it goes in the next few weeks but Allen's Favre-like tendency to turn the ball over is increasingly looking like it's going to be what closes this generation of the Bills' Super Bowl window.
His couple seasons at 10 or less ints were flukes and he's regressing to the mean. We saw it last season in 2021 too. Schefter said yesterday that the Diggs' drama from the end of last year was over him believing their Super Bowl window was closing and being pissed. How long until is leaks that he's trying to get the fuck out after last night's performance?

Doubful then the Jets wants to use this guy as a replacement for Aaron Rodgers as one columnist suggested.

Jemele Hill floats Colin Kaepernick as Aaron Rodgers replacement after Jets star's injury

Kaepernick has not appeared in a game since the end of the 2016 season

The New York Jets’ quarterback situation appeared to be in flux Monday night after Aaron Rodgers went down and left his team debut against the Buffalo Bills with an ankle injury.

After Rodgers suffered the injury, Zach Wilson was put into the game. He eventually would help the team to a 22-16 victory, but speculation began on social media about who the Jets could pick up to start or at least compete for the job with Wilson.

Names like Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, Cam Newton and Joe Flacco were floated. Another name put into the atmosphere was Colin Kaepernick.

Jemele Hill is such a stupid nigger bitch. Kap hasn't thrown a live pass in over 6 years and wasn't that good to begin with. He'd be the worst QB we've ever seen. I almost want this to happen so we can witness something so terrible that no one would suggest it again.

She is stupid, but she's just doing more of her usual race hustling. Invoking Kaepernick's name is just for easy clicks once again so that people can get mad either because they know it's a stupid proposition, or because they don't know shit regarding sports but want to run with the eternal black victim narrative.

People who know football know that even if not for the kneeling thing he would have probably been out of the league on his own (or maybe holding a clipboard/doing emergency mop up duty like Colt McCoy or Brian Hoyer) by 2020. At his best he was a decent enough quarterback on teams with good-to-elite defenses, he wasn't a caramel Tom Brady or Peyton Manning who was cut down in his prime.

To what should be the surprise of no one, it's confirmed - Rodgers is out for the season, he completely tore his left Achilles Tendon. Jets fans are probably on a suicide watch with how much they were hyping up finally having a QB, and now they have a Hackett/Wilson combo. They've seen this movie in Denver.
I imagine he will want to come back because he's stubborn and doesn't want to go out like that, but who knows how recovering from that injury will even go (if it's an Achilles tear as suspected.)

If he loses mobility he'll just get killed again behind that O-Line next year.
Hey Jets, I don't ask for much, but if Rodgers recovers and wants t play one more season so his career doesn't end on that, please send him to the Vikings, Just for the lulz.

They'll probably trade for someone in Case Keenum or Jacoby Brisset's tier, but imagine if Brady unretired to play for the Jets.

How fucking ass is Buffalo to lose to an unexpected backup starter?
As this YouTube comment put it:

Can't really argue with the logic, must admit.

edit:

There's this. Must admit I almost shit myself laughing when I saw it.

Jemele Hill Foolishly Suggests The Jets Sign Colin Kaepernick

Last played seven years ago. Went 3-16 in his final 19 starts, even then. Y'know even as a Patriots fan I wouldn't wish this fate on the Jets. I'd laugh if it happened, though. I'm only human.

In any event, how big of a chicken mcnugget for a brain do you have to be suggest such a thing? And how I can get on the gravy train that pays hundreds of thousands a year to spout such nonsense?

Most of the games were really sloppy in week 1. Now that they have gone to 17 regular season games and 3 preseason and have limits on padded offseason practices this is probably the new normal. Even the teams that played some starters preseason struggled to connect in the passing game. Football is football and even slop fests like the game last night are entertaining. The product just sells itself no matter how greedy they get.

Nah, my headcanon says this this was Lions' first step on the path to greatness, not a KC Oline with cobwebs on the brain and Travis Kelce out with injury.

I think what these niggers don't understand for some reason, is that the NFL will let rapists and murderers play in the league if they have the skill. Kapernick was ass when he played, he had a rubber arm and the ability to run, and that was about it. He was Justin Fields before it was cool. Combined with his bullshit spergery he just wasn't worth keeping on ANY team, THAT is why he is unemployed, its BECAUSE HE SUCKS. Running QB's have a life span of about 3 years to figure out how to throw the ball before they get RGIII'd out of the league with a serious injury that kills their mobility.

Kapernick was a Tim Tebow that could run, without the leadership ability, and a dumb cunt for a wife.

Just puiting these tidbits here:

And of course the sidelines harlot just said he's ruled out but X-rays are (ostensibly) negative.

Edit: further update-- Jets fear it's torn Achilles.

The NFL generates enough revenue that they can afford to have every stadium play on natural grass, there really is no excuse to run turf anymore, outside of being cheap as fuck and not caring about the knees and ligaments of the guys who play on it.

I want to believe, but I did grow up watching the Lions absolutely waste 2.5 HoF careers in Sanders, Johnson, and Stafford.

Vikings are 0-2. If they have a shit record by midseason, it's possible Justin Jefferson doesn't sign a contract and test free agency.
