Ravens came dangerously close to adding today's game to this list.

Genuine thought: now that it's clear Bryce Young isn't cut out to be an NFL QB, where does he go? I kinda have the feeling he pinned his whole future on being the No. 1 overall pick and coasting on the publicity and sponsorships that come with that. Maybe some team that's desperate enough takes him in to give it one more try, but nobodies going in go that thinking they have a sure thing. UFL, Canadian league? No network's gonna want the commentary of a guy who couldn't read defenses, and wasn't athletic enough to make up for it, so that's obviously out.

Where all QBs go to die: Chicago.

Hater mode for the Chiefs is still set to maximum but god damn the Falcons just couldn't get the win.

Really weird how the Chiefs keep getting away with missed penalty calls near the end of the games when they are ahead helping them to cinch the win.

That's easy. You are in year 2 of a 5 year plan of suffering.
5 years? Don't worry man, I'm going to be suffering for a long while longer than that, all our talent is going to be cycling out at different intervals to maximize the pain of having to fill in gaps to compensate. I just pray Howie can work his cap space and trade negotiation Jew magic to ease the pain by fleecing other teams to soften those blows when they come.

Pitts was 5 yards down field when Reid was called for Neutral Zone Infraction.
McCloud ran directly into McDuffie and that was magically DPI

I have complex thoughts here. I'm going to huff my own copium, because J Love's injury still turned into 2 wins, and I'm high on my own supply (Also I love Jeff Hafley for saving the Packers defense). Malik Willis outballed the Colts compared to Caleb, which makes me favor the hypothesis that functional football teams/coaching staffs do make the difference for struggling QBs. I also wanted to believe that Bryce was being hampered by the Panthers, but Andy Dalton just came in and made the Raiders look like a joke which really strains my belief that Caleb would be worth of starting in a better org. Making a prediction based on one game is, of course, retarded, and I'm sure I'll eat shit in 2-3 weeks about something. And as much as I love being a Bears hater, Fields is 3-0 at Pittsburg, but the Steelers have won 3 games against bad teams and they've won them in spite of the offense being limp-dicked.

I will say that Caleb at least looked more accurate for long throws this week, which is probably a decent sign; but again, they were playing the underwhelming Colts. Until proven otherwise I will believe that Chicago is incapable of developing a QB and Carolina is incapable of keeping a talented one healthy. RIP Cam Newton.

Could anyone have made something out of Bryce though? I have my doubts an unathletic skinny manlet would have ever been able to squeak by as a pro QB, much less going 1 overall without Nick Saban vouching for them. Might be too late to ever know at this point, kids headed to the practice squad of whoever throws the panthers a 6th rounder if he's lucky. Fields struggled in Chicago, but he wasn't getting benched 2 games in to his second season, still a big question mark on his consistency with the Steelers like you said, especially if Russ comes back in the next few weeks. Even at his worst in Chicago, it wasn't to the point where they'd pull the plug on him after just the first two games of the season. Only going off of recent memory but, has that ever happened to an overall #1 pick this early?

Yeah, I'm rethinking my hope for him.

to be fair, Chicago didn't even have a back-up QB worth playing

Even Jarod Goof and Baker have had pretty solid 2nd chances with a different team. Chicago legit fleeced them for that first round trade just by getting DJ Moore alone, but if nobody takes him after Carolina that might be the worst #1 pick in recent history.
