Gotta remember one thing though, funny and sometimes right as he can be he's also a bit of a cow himself and has been known to make wild speculations on occasion.
What I assume happened is a lot of orders happened then they canceled a whole bunch of em for paypal reasons. (bots too possibly) Then just reopened the sales with the current number sold still showing even though the previous orders were canceled.
When I bought it the first time it appeared as if I bought it but was "confirming payment" think it was cause of the large amount because I later got a phone text about it. It showed up on my purchased items menu but then when I refreshed the page it was gone and I had a message in either email or just noticed it on ebay about it being canceled. I guess I'll know if the second attempt was successful sometime in the next couple of days.
Welp got fucked myself as well... but lol at Hasbro Toy Shop's Ebay rating.
Anybody wanna bet on how messed up of a condition the uncut foil sheets arrive in?

Before this gets deleted by reddit admins, this asshole took it completely out of context. First of all, the idiot thinks it was a marionette deck. It wasn't. That card's not even in the deck. He was running counterspell draw, this was approximately turn 25, every single creature and spell I cast was countered or removed up until that point and this dumbass who copied his deck from MTG Salvation or Goldfish used one of his last copies of negate to counter a Revel in Riches when he had 0 creatures on the field and I had 0 treasures in play, thus the "this spell does literally nothing" and he should have let it resolve. I love it when people copy a deck and have no idea how to run it or play MTG. I was just throwing it out because I had 5 mana and it was the only card left in my hand and the game was already over anyway. So on the way out I let him know what an idiot he was for countering a spell that does nothing in the current board state.
NOBODY wants to watch a recording of a game where I cast something and he counters it or removes it x30 turns. That's idiotic. I should have left the game the second I saw what he was running. This was the 5th attempt at getting a recording of something resembling watchable MTG gameplay and 5 people in a row were playing Karn draw control loop or free cast torrential graveyard resurrection control or approach control loop. So yeah, I was pissed and he was an asshole for playing this. He's one of those idiots who doesn't care about the other players one bit, it's all about winning. So running 35 control spells seems reasonable because NOTHING matters but winning. Thanks for not showing the board state with library counts or the full log, asshole. Enjoy your temporary ban from reddit.

Kitsune Kon is taking place at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay, WI, but at least one person who planned on attending won’t be let in the door. The convention made an announcement earlier today stating that Youtuber ‘DesolatorMagic’ has been officially banned from the event due to safety concerns.
In a video posted on July 1st where DesolatorMagic announced he was attending the con, he stated “considering the sheer volume of threats I get on Twitter and on Youtube and Reddit and everywhere else — if you so much as look at me wrong, I’m probably going to stab you. So just FYI — you might not want to freak me out. You might want to come at me within my full vision arc and kind of slowly. That said, if you do want to fight me, just announce it first. No cheap shots, or I will shoot you.” In context it’s actually really difficult to tell how serious he is, but as DesolatorMagic repeatedly mentions he carries a gun in his other videos (and also talks about having had to pull it out), it’s clear he’s serious enough.
I mean, we’re talking about a guy who claims he had to once show his firearm during a dispute while playing Pokemon Go.
(Update 7/13: In our comments (but not in the video we learned this from), DesolatorMagic says “I pulled out a gun to stop someone following me at a high rate of speed in a dark alley and attempting to attack or rob me while playing Pokemon Go.” In a video posted earlier today on Youtube, he relates this same story and says that the person “following him” was scared off when he pulled out his gun.
While I believe that DesolatorMagic believes this story to be accurate, from what we’ve researched he appears to be a resident of Appleton, WI. As someone who has spent decades living in towns of similar size and crime rates… I find it hard to believe this person was attempting to rob DesolatorMagic. It sounds like some other guy happened to be in an alley at night, DesolatorMagic pulled a gun, and the other party got understandably scared. As he and the unknown party were the only ones present, they’re the only ones who truly know what happened that night, and this interpretation is just my personal opinion)
In their announcement, Kitsune Kon staff stated:
DesolatorMagic posted a fairly angry rant in response to the ban. Contrary to what DesolatorMagic claims in that video though, Kitsune Kon does have a fairly straight forward policy against real weapons clearly posted on their website. The convention’s guidelines specifically prohibit bringing “…real firearms, live steel, or projectiles of any kind” into the con space.
This policy has been on their website for years, as can easily be confirmed using Archive.org.
In fact, this is an exceptionally common policy at fandom conventions, and should surprise absolutely no one. The fact that DesolatorMagic seems shocked by it simply shows how unfamiliar with the convention scene he is. He also makes bizarre claims showing how little he understands how conventions are run, or how an event like that manages security. Though I won’t be there this year, I’ve attended Kitsune Kon in the past and know several of their staffers. In my experience, they have handled security issues responsibly and professionally.
You know, like by taking steps to preemptively ban a guy who says he’s going to bring a gun.

Funny enough, re: Chandra- my patch of the community has been cranky because her newest cards make her look Asian.
(I couldn't find the original card, Acolyte of Flame, so take the art.)
1. The artist confirmed this was during her training days after getting her spark, so babyface. (Citation will be added when I find some, that part is hearsay.)
2. She's fucking GRINNING in both. And muscles and cheeks are things that get in the way of your eyes when you're smiling that largely.

Back in high school there was this really religious history teacher who approached me and two friends playing a game of Magic. He tried making the argument that the game was inherently evil because it glorified satanism and dark wizardry.
I looked at him, confused and said “It’s a card game.”
He continued to press me on it though, thinking he could argue that it’s inherently evil, and blah blah blah blah.
Again, I looked him in the eye and said “It’s a card game.”
Point is, idgaf if people are making weird arguments about a fictional character’s skin tone, or if the game has more LGBTQ members, or whatever.
I just want to play a card game.

Here are some quick hits regarding Magic the Gathering:
- Aaron Barich got caught cheating at a Star City Games event over the weekend on camera. Obviously nothing was done because, don’t you know it, Aaron is MtF trans even though he makes zero effort to look like a woman, and I think he’s dating a woman too. No one is really talking about it even though the cheat was very obvious (he played cards from hand when he wasn’t allowed to per a previous card and he skipped a trigger specifically because he had played that card earlier, so he knew he had played the original card earlier) and the implication is that SCG allowed it because he is their trans-star player. Just more favoritism and proof that all the pros are cheaters.
- Throne of Edraine, the next expansion, art leaked. The art itself looks fairly cool and the plane is going to be “fairy tale based.” Obviously we need to have POC and strong female characters in the art and the pandering game is staying strong. Women in armor, female slay qweens and emasculated men abound.
- Tim Shields of Cascade Games will be running the MTG Judges Academy, Magic’s way of trying to centralize judges. He’s described as “identifying strongly with self-improvement and inclusivity” which does not bode well.
- Sam Black made a twitter post where he basically laments that magic is going the streamer route and that “deck tech and gameplay isnt appreciated.” The implication is that personalities matter more and he essentially retired from competitive magic. He’s not wrong though. Magic has absolutely started pushing their “streamer personalities” it’s interesting to see a pro finally say it. He’ll probably be blacklisted soon.
- European LGS’s are claiming that their suppliers are raising prices on all magic products. Last year WotC announced no more MSRP so, obviously this was going to happen.
That’s about it. I think the cheating scandal that no one is talking about is the biggest thing.
