Story wise I'm wondering if this the Infinity War: Pt2 / Empire Strikes Back of a trilogy even though I kinda thought that was what Amonkhet was at first. I definitely get the vibe that Bolas is gonna win.

He's going to do a lot of damage, that's for sure. The thing is, he won on Amonkhet (defeated the Gatewatch) and he technically won on Alara (absorbing the maelstrom,) even if Ajani forced him to skedaddle before he could execute his mop-up operations. So he could win, but have an incomplete victory here too.

Wizards has said this will be the "end of the Gatewatch story". Now take that for what you will. I'm hoping that they'll do something unpredictable and have Bolas win or have another Walker usurp his position and steal the spark form themselves. The look of the trailer makes me think they're going to copy the Infinity war story and simply have Bolas defeated and none of the character deaths will not matter/be reversed.

Either way, if you believe the leak, we're getting a 5 color Niv and that will be cool for Commander.

So coming off of two enormous wins (dominaria and arena), they’re going to go with what seems like their riskiest set ever?

Also, I wonder if radio silence on Turtenwald is due to Vic creating the playback for kicking back?

I've heard rumors the evidence against Turtenwald is sketchy at best and by chick that's known to be kinda promiscuous and virtue signaling prone on twitter as well?

They only thing better than the reeeing on Twitter have been the soy boys defacing their own $180 plus judge promo Force of Will's, cause clearly that will show the vile woman who dared hold opinions they didn't like.

She didn't do the Judge Promo, she did the Alliances and Eternal Masters ones. So it's the EMA one which is a helluva lot more than $180.

Edit: This happened back in August before Ultimate Masters even and they still had her art all over the place in it (The box itself was a rendition of Dig Through Time that they didn't end up using on the actual card in the set) so I think they know axing her might not be the best idea. She's kind of a fan-favorite even if she likes vaguely right-wingy stuff.

Edit 2: So apparently they have been ramping it up, open foot insert mouth.

:story: Christ, people are dumber than I realized. I also like how most are such pussies they won't @ her when they destroy their insanely expensive card with the art she was pay for long ago.

It's for when you're going to lose otherwise or to keep you from losing when you're getting ready to win if you're not trolling. (Poe's Law in full effect here considering things I've seen on the Magic the Gathering Rocks My World and a Commander FB group)

In legacy it's a godsend when otherwise you might be staring down turn 2 Emrakul Aeons Torn or Griselbrand.

See it was easy and I even did it for free so it’s time WotC learned from buzzfeed, sack these flavour text writers and hire a bunch on unpaid interns in exchange for “exposure”. Unfortunately they cannot guarantee that Mark Rosewaters won’t try a make them his fourth wife.
 
So they want to bully out one of the most prominent female MTG artists (who is also a married lesbian btw) because... she followed some accounts and liked some tweets? All this whining about how they have to associate her art with the alt-right now is totally inane since they're the ones who dragged it up and are now spreading it around. She didn't try to use her platform to promote any of these things and if they didn't bring this up nobody would know about it, it's a manufactured problem.
