Yeah, I use Goldfish for pretty much everything other than spoilers these days tbh. That website and Scryfall are the only two bookmarks I have now that magiccards.info got acquired. Seth's content is also pretty good, though I have to watch it muted at 2x speed.
 
I don't know much about wedge, I was watching an aether hub vid and mana source came up. There was a very rotund man who proceeded to assault my ears with this high pitch and condescending voice, rattling off card names in an ill structured vid about the most "insane" cards. In other words he just listed red spells with walls of text and wierd conditions, nothing actually insane or busted. I assume that guy was wedge? That video blew chunks.

Edit: Yeah while the threads necro'd talk about wedge/other youtube mtg guys maybe, the hamburglar has his own thread so the threads content is kinda diverted.

Wedge's voice is so fucking bad

I legitimately don't understand how people can willingly listen to him talk about anything, I'd rather have to listen to Saffron Olive playing it up for the rest of my life than spend any amount of time listening to Wedge's horrific, grating voice.

So, the Twitter outrage regarding PewDiePie streaming arena has been very entertaining to read. People are actually calling for wotc to step in and sideline him

He doesn't want to dip his toes in controversy I would guess. This is also the first time in a long time I've watched one of Seth's vids in 1x speed with sound on. It was annoying.

I guess I just don't get it. They don't want Pewdiepie playing magic because racists might play magic arena or something. A game with no chat function and no friends list as of right now. To me it's like not eating grilled cheese sandwiches because you saw a KKK member eat one once.

I'm willing to bet only a handful of these people bitching probably play competitively or show up at their LGS.

Also, SJW logic almost does work like your grilled cheese example.

Seth is a whiny voiced beta male, didn't he sperg out about a kekistan flag hanging on the wall at a gamestore? He's also probably one of the worst magic streamers I've seen. Nothing but bad slow play and stupid moaning noises when he doesn't top deck well.

That's why you mute it and watch at 2x. He plays a really diverse lineup of decks, which is most of the appeal for me.
I've always kind of wondered who the fuck he is, actually. He just sort of popped up around 2015 on Reddit from what I've seen. This is the only article I could find where he actually talks about himself (archive)
That actually gives his First and last name, which is the only time I think I've ever seen it on the net.

Seth is pretty neat when he's running something really wacky, but yeah he talks way to slow, and the videos become a slog. He's also got some actual competition now that folks like Merchant and all those lads are putting out more mtg stuff post-arena.
