Take a look at this jackass.
"Unwitting tools", yeah, that's gonna endear you to the guy who lost buddies of his.

What the fuck is wrong with these people?

I’d love to see a list of all the positive actions this “Daniel Fournier” is doing. What a disgusting leech.

Edit: it will shock you to learn that he has no neck and his life is entirely made up of magic the gathering and mediocre politics takes.

Dan Lanthier was caught cheating at a low level Modern Event. Dan is a canadian MTG pro who won Grand Prix Vancouver and Grand Prix Quebec, both in 2015. That's the first tip off since winning GPs back to back is extremely difficult... unless you're cheating.

At the Wizard Tower's small modern tournament, Dan was playing Dredge and a Stomping Ground is seen in his graveyard. Dan cracks a fetch, blocks his opponent's view and proceeds to place the discarded Stomping Ground back in his deck. Dan then pretends to search his deck, he pulls a random card to the front of his deck (pretending that it's the Stomping Ground) and then he places the Stomping Ground into play.

I can't find a clip of only the cheat occurring without idiots commentating but the video is everywhere.

Dan then posted a photo of his deck showing 3 Stomping Grounds

The issue here is that Dan was only playing 2 Stomping Grounds. He removed an Arid Mesa for the photo, and during the gameplay, you clearly see 3 Arid Mesa's on the table but in the deck photo, he only lists 2. Hence, he removed a Mesa for the extra Stomping Ground specifically for the deck photo.

He also "forgot" to discard a card due to Faithless Looting.

Dan won the tournament.

The Wizard Tower then put out a statement and reported Dan to Wizards.

Dan, in a twist of reverse psychology, then leaked an email he sent to Wizards requesting a lifetime ban.

It seems like now that he's gotten caught, he wants to be an advocate against cheaters in Magic. Of course, the kiddies on reddit are lapping this up and penis touching Dan for his honesty.

Obviously the implication is that if you're a pro, chances is, you're cheating. If Dan cheated at this small, no name tournament, how do you think he won those GPs?

So, Dan Lanthier, the cheater from the above post, just struck DesolatorMagic and MTGLion's YouTube videos covering Dan Lanthier's utter retardedness by cheating for privacy violations.

Dan Lanthier is mad that a Google search of the name Dan Lanthier brings up videos that state that Dan Lanthier got caught cheating at magic and that Dan Lanthier was probably cheating at tournaments this entire time.

Tranny talking about Ultimate Masters (WotC's latest cash grab)

wtf I love Ultimate Masters now

While I'm carrying no brief for WotC's avarice, MtG is a luxury good. If you actually need to shoot yourself up with hormones and cut your dick off (spoilers: you don't,) prioritize that over a children's card game. If you have problems doing that, maybe you're not competent to be shooting yourself up with hormones and cutting your dick off, just sayin.

My man Rudy from Alpha Investments revealed a bit of drama about local game stores trying to get him banned due to his public speculation of box valuation.

Gave up Magic years ago due to the cost of keeping up with it and dealing with the autists at game shops, but I still really enjoy Rudy's videos. As long as it's not filmed at a show or something and that Asian dude is there.
I have two decks in paper and one on mtgo that I'm about to sell out of. I play legacy so the cost of keeping up isn't too bad. I got really lucky speculating on some cards during Innistrad block and picked up everything I needed for Sneak and Show. Too bad it's a format that not many people play tbh. I don't think I would be willing to drop 50-200 dollars on a new standard every new standard.

I haven't played magic since I was basically a pre-teen, but I love the speculation aspect of Rudy's videos. It reminds me a lot of altcoins (which I do trade).

Daniel Chang (the asian dude) of Vintage Magic (his company) is super annoying. He's obnoxious and pompous. While Rudy is always playing up his "creepiness" and "shadiness" for comedic value, Daniel Chang comes of like the real one who is creepy/shady. I've watched a few of his videos for lolcow value, a channel which he started after seeing the success of Rudy.

I enjoy watching counterfeit videos, and in this one Daniel doesn't really seem to make a great case for why he thinks its fake, and then proceeds to damage the card without explicitly asking permission first. I'm very much not an expert, but it seemed inappropriate and the commenters also seemed unconvinced that the card was definitely fake. He also used the term "loss leader" completely incorrectly (at 2:43), which is really stunning for a guy who runs a retail business.

I also want to point out that Daniel Chang looks like he has Down's Syndrome

People with Down syndrome may have some or all of these physical characteristics: a small chin, slanted eyes, poor muscle tone, a flat nasal bridge, a single crease of the palm, and a protruding tongue due to a small mouth and relatively large tongue.

I’m surprised they put MTG Goldfish on there considering his open association with the hamburglar.
I didn't know MTGGoldfish was associated with 1/4#, when did that happen?
MTG Goldfish itself is a pretty valuable resource for a lot of players out there, and their content expands beyond just Saff being the main face of their brand + YouTube channel. So it would seem more odd to not include them, compared to someone like Rudy who's typically seen as a wild card in the community.
