I'm surprised the bar didn't need to file a report about the window for insurance purposes.
 
When I saw the title at first I thought Jake Alley actually left his mom's basement and attacked someone.

There's a lot of shit about this that's really coming across as strange, and that's just one of the many. According to reports, Elm City Games - Loter's company - actually has a vendor booth at GenCon, which means that this guy may have accidentally his entire career to punch one Autist in the head.

Also Matt Loter is fucking A-List lolcow material if he ever breaks radio silence. Here he is bragging about his vasectomy.

I don't believe Jeremy at face value on anything without evidence, but the fact that this guy went full lockdown strongly suggests it's legit.
 
Independently corroborating that the window's busted should be easy enough at least.

My money is on his version events being heavily skewed. I'm sure he got slapped around a bit but I'd be shocked if he didn't mouth off a bit beforehand or try and fight back and just get overwhelmed. In classic Hambly fashion, his telling of the story involves the bar and the police victimizing him, even with supposedly a dozen people verifying his story.

Shit generally doesn't work that way.

Knowing him, odds are that he rolled in to the bar and started imperiously demanding the bartender turn over their camera footage and got told to fuck off just to spite him. Jeremy's just that sort of people person.

Not necessarily, the lockdown is just more or less a confirmation he fought Hambo, not that it was the blindside "attack" being described. Like others are saying, the guy was allegedly working the fucking convention. Even a fight he didn't instigate would put him in deep shit.

I could see the bar not getting involved either so it doesn't get brigaded on Yelp, or worse yet, the REEEEEtards on the SJW spend their time boycotting the place and costing them a nice chunk of tourist change. A window and the labor to install it are nothing compared to a night worth the drunken spergs ordering expensive foo foo drink that cost like a nickle to make.
