No clue why he isn't calling the cops, and instead feels the need to make a short video about it for Twitter. Especially how he comes off as kind of smug about it. 'I got punched by some random guy! Anyone disagree with that?'

He did call the cops the bar he was at didn't want to though.

I only seen a few of videos on both Jeremey's channel, not a fan of MTG and find his persona boring, but that's me.

That being said. I hope Jeremy files charges at this POS and gets a criminal record.

pretty desperate and pathetic to physically assault a person over difference of a opinion or cause your "feelings" got hurt

Hoo boy. This is one that I really wasn't expecting.

Last night, Jeremy Hambly, who many of you may remember from MagicGate (as the man quite literally banned for life due to being an edgelord and who essentially began it) and the frequent subject of @KillThemCrackasBabies' homicidal fantasies, was the victim of a rather surprising incident:

In the wee hours of the morning, while he was meeting with some of the staff and developers with several huge PNP RPGs over drinks, he was allegedly attacked by a Gencon attendant. The attendant in question was wearing a four-day pass and a rainbow-colored shirt, and, after sucker punching Jeremy, proceeded to punch him repeatedly before running off and breaking one of the bar's windows for good measure. Multiple witnesses confirmed the incident in the video above.

Curiously, the bar refused to call the police following the attack, and, when Jeremy went to the police, they basically wrote him off, asking why the bar didn't call the police themselves and refusing to take a report.

Fittingly, since Jeremy's fanbase are a group of Autists, they weaponized their Autism and the attacker's identity was soon discovered: Matt Loter, the owner of Elm City Games, who immediately locked his Twitter account and went radio silent, shutting down his store's Facebook page for good measure, as well as his linkedin page bragging about his martial arts training.

That doesn't sound at all suspicious.

That's him in the center, by the by.

Unfortunately for our dear Mr. Loter, he kind of made a declaration previously that he was going to fight anyone who disparaged our lord and savior Anita Sarkeesian about a month prior to this - a tweet that got liked by the CEO of Silverstring Media, no less. He also has a history of screaming about a need to punch Nazis, but unlike most of the Lolcows we cover who espouse this, he's actually got training in Krav Maga, and holy shit, the stuff this guy has said in the past:

Matt Loter said:
Oh also, fuck gamergate, fuck alt right trolls, and fuck Nazis. These scumbag motherfuckers need to be cleared out of our scene. They aren’t welcome and it’s our obligation to protect our community against racist sexist homophobic xenophobes.

Especially those of us with social capital and power; it’s an obligation to use those privileges to make things better. Being a queer white cis dude means I can pass and have immense privilege. I have to use that as best I can to help lift everyone else up. Then we can start to break down all the systemic oppression that plagues not just our scene, but the world in general. Whatever force I can exert on helping bring that about, I have to as a decent human being.

Though I should also be clear that there movements and segments of these underrepresented and discriminated against populations that aren’t for us to all be pushing into. There are times we can take leadership roles, and there are times we need to just shut the fuck up and listen to how we can help, if we’re even invited to that table. A big part of dismantling that fucked up power structure is recognizing our own positions of power and actually ceding some of that. It’s exciting to lead the charge against oppression, but much less so to actually live that day to day. It’s always a struggle to keep thoughtfully approaching these things and constantly questioning your own motivations and actions.

But then there is also a time to just start punching Nazis. Cause fuck those guys.

Very much so. And I’m in a position of privilege being a dude who isn’t small and literally teaches fighting to people (Krav Maga), so my experience with threats and violence is very different from a lot of people who have much more pressing concerns about their own safety and security. Not everyone has that ability, and we absolutely need to not judge anyone in that position. There is a world of difference between not giving a shit and being worried about your safety. All the more reason why I feel even more of an obligation to be loud about this shit; it’s one of the things that I am well suited to and can really support people with.

So yeah, smash the heteronormative capitalist patriarchal super state.

There's so much evidence of this guy wearing Punch Nazis shirts and advocating doing so. While Jeremy has a rather well-known tendency to exaggerate, the fact that this guy immediately went full DFA mode and has been widely covered indicates an extremely high chance that this dude legit attacked him, and there's no way that this isn't going to turn into comic gold if it turns out to be genuine.
