Actually I would totally play a mono-blue Calvin Coolidge commander.

He should have the text, "When your spell counters a spell an opponent controls, put an instant from your graveyard on the bottom of your library."
Actually..Coolidge should have something like

Calvin Coolidge, Waste Cutter 1W

Whenever an Opponent sacrifices a Treasure, put a +1/+1 counter on Calvin Coolidge
"Whenever a player resolves a spell, if they paid more mana than that spells converted mana cost, that player gains 1 life and creates a treasure token"
"Whenever an activated, triggered ability or spell causes a player to pay mana, that player gains 1 life and creates a treasure token"

Collecting more Taxes than absolutely necessary is legalized Robbery

I was thinking of his quote “It is much more important to kill bad bills than to pass good ones.” hence building around the idea of infinite couterspells.

Your design though... seems to encourage excessive spending? Which I don't get for theme. I'd either have text like...
"No player may have more than 19 mana in their mana pool." (no infinite loops for you unless you spend it)
OR
"Whenever a player cast a spell, if they paid more mana than its mana value, destroy target artifact or enchantment." And make him G/W in the process.

That way he becomes an "anti-stax" piece blowing up stuff like trinisphere.

who would be your presidential pic?
The OG of course.

Hooray for top down design

"No player may have more than 19 mana in their mana pool."

I like that

It is Anti-Taxes, without cost increasing effects like Thalia, Trinisphere or Mana-Tithe you generally won't be spending more mana than the Mana-Value of the card. It will trigger of kicker effects and a few things like that but typically..it will trigger off Tax effects (including the Commander Tax)

Taxation is Theft! and Calvin will give you a refund.

It would also trigger off every X spell.

My issue is that your design would encourage the coolidge player to then run stax effects to make people (including themselves) pay extra - which is my objection. Your version of Calvin makes a tax deck appealing.

EDIT: oh what if anti-taxing was "players can't cast spells they do not own."? Shut down Etali and other such deck theft.

Invoke Prejudice, but in that format.

Who needs a Netflix series? Just have the youtubers make a mtg series...

Former (?) MTG artist Jesper Myrfors posted this picture, which has Chaz Elliot blacked out for some reason:

What beef does Myrfors have against Elliot? And that black out is so low-effort compared to when Stalin does it:

IIRC Myrfors was complaining passive-aggressively that the blacked out person had been mean to him in the past. I imagine they'd clashed when Elliot was art director and Myrfors is being a little bitch about it still.
So they're their personal Zak S?

I'm confused did a grown man post this on his social media or a high school girl? This is the type of shit you see when two girls in a group like the same boy. Give a couple weeks for the update on how they're besties again and boys are just icky.

Is there any mtg youtuber who isn't a fag? I can usually stomach that while watching content but it's starting to get to me.
If you think it's bad now, niggers are finally starting to leave Yugioh and getting into Magic the Gathering. I fully expect the game to eventually be full of bears just to make the game easier for them.

Troons still continue their hateboner Crusade against Terese Nielsen, with this one desecrating an Unglued land to draw a self-insert:
