Ollama's official documentation is barely helpful, llama.cpp's documentation assumes mid-level familiarity when I'm just barely past the entry level threshold.
I use duck.ai / Gemini to help solve my problems with ollama and running hermes.

I have a AMD 9700 AI Pro which is a 9070 with more ram.

He is demonstrating what it can / can't do to his viewers, not just "I can torrent shit and open a file in VLC".
i was responding to the post not the video
companies dont want you buying physical and they make artificial scarcity so dont buy it

I've seen you say some dumb shit in the past but this takes the cake.
i knowm ive just seen how many "upscaled" UHDs there are out there and they are crap quality even compared to the dvd releases. i look for fan upscales instead which are generally better quality, regraded, and do a better job of upscaling than the official release.

The only movies that I know of that are actual, no-kidding AI upscales are James Cameron's movies. Terminator 2, True Lies and Aliens to pick just a few. He even degrained the movie because he finds graininess "ugly". It's genuinely disgustingly ugly. - But some movies, like Dreamworks' newest films, those are spectacular 4K renditions.

No, I get you. The only DVDs I really buy as of now are dubs that are available nowhere else; I just have a vivid autistic tick that makes me excited once a spinning plastic disc does things on my computer and makes buzzing noises.

ya the part i didnt mention is i collect dvds and vinyl lol
i like physical media to an extent just i agree with stallman that blu rays are the devil and i dont support them

I hate physical media outside of games. I just pirate all the TV/movies. I have a big case of DVDs and music from years ago.

Sold my vinyl collection for quite a lot of £££s years ago. The take-up loads of space, and unless you are some sort of audiophile fag, it doesn't make a lot of difference to the music over CD, MP3 or whatever.
