Forgive the off-topicness, but I wanted to share another bit of wiki-related autism I found last night: The Fictional TV Stations Wiki.

This wiki is filled with articles about fictional cable and broadcast TV stations. And I don't mean stations from works of fiction, like Channel 6 on The Simpsons; I mean TV stations which straight-up do not exist except as articles on this wiki.

And I guess that could be interesting if it were played for laughs, or if there were maybe some sort of underlying plot in the articles, but no, that doesn't seem to be the case. They're just dry articles about television stations, similar to what you'd see on Wikipedia, but with poorer writing quality.

Checking out the history of the pages will show that most edits are by a user who goes by SPCBlackfordCounty995Main, who… oh, of course.

Remember, an sizeable chunk of the userbase consists of mentally deficient children.

Oh, and the local admins are shutting down the demand for an hugbox. Mostly because it means more work for them.

The old guard of the ezgender wiki are rage quitting to Miraheze.

Why?

Because his small wiki got raided and ballooned in size and nobody wants to deal with entitled children screaming at you for not working fast enough.

I just formed yesterday but I already know all about snowflakegenders and tone tags.
 
Turns out that someone is deliberately pushing buttons, in regards to the contents of the wiki. But the drama has more or less died out, at this point. Only thing that's left, aside from reading the whitewashed wiki is laughing at what triggers people.

Tone tag discussion went full retard, courtesy of the admins who refuse to give in to enforcing the DNI lists because it's "unproductive to the wiki."

Failed attempt at an raid.

And there's an gender for the wiki merge for reasons that should be obvious.

Yeah, that's depressing news. Since the entire wiki seems to be made of under-18s and non-functioning autists, I don't think we're getting a splinter site either. It's a shame not only because of the loss of community drama and hilarious pages, but because I actually used it referentially sometimes. The same people that used the LGBTA Wiki are going to be making up inane nonsense at exactly the same pace, but now there won't be any way to make sense of it without actually (God forbid) interacting with the people coming up with the terms. It was a fun ride while it lasted.

The owners of the designated splinter site fled to Miraheze to avoid dealing with the influx of trolls and mentally stunted children. But I'm not sure if the main site was also ported to Miraheze.

But yeah, it's an massive loss of gay drama and it'll break quite an few links on here. On the other hand, the drama has more or less died off because the new admins have put an end to it.

well its the last day everyone. Its so sad. Now I have tried to edit the lesbian page on the new one to say women only but alas I was stopped by mods. Its gonna be all over soon. Poor one out for this dogshit wiki
