Looks like we're having another fucking Lolcow Singularity Event in which fucking idiots shriek about needing to stop a hashtag that hasn't been relevant in two years and the only escape is putting the barrel of a gun in your mouth.

Because the previous five of these fucking things just wasn't Autistic enough!

SJWs don't make pity bux by letting go.

It's funny because the game itself isn't even about goobergab.

All this autistic screeching over someone with Wrong Opinions(tm) being allowed to make his game.

It's funny because nobody cares about these impotent screechers.

And once again, 'GamerGate' is today what '4chan' was ten years ago: An all encompassing boogieman to pin everything on, no matter how tenuous the connection or urgent the threat.

Gotta tilt at them windmills

Gamergate or anti-gamergate, anyone who gets this worked up over video games is a massive sperg.

Sargon weighs in on The Last Night. Spends a lot of time going after Gamergate people like Zoey Quinn, Jim Sterling, and Anita Sarkeesian. Basically loses the plot by the end of the video.

So it's a normal Sargon video, is what you're saying?

He did have a point in all that, in his defense, which is basically something everyone on this site who's remotely covered Anti-GG Cows knows already: that despite all claims by the motherfuckers that they're the most oppressed things ever, they are, to a man, the biggest fucking harassers of them all. Also that their entire career is marketing their own victimhood.

Both of which, for those of us on the Farms, are a "recent study shows water is wet; film at 11" situation.

Anyone who wants a preview of how this controversy is going to effect the games success, look up any "professional" review of that Red Pill documentary that was released not to long ago and compere the reviewers opinion of the film to how normal people feel about it or how it did financially.

All just like with the Red Pill there's a good chance i wouldn't even know about this game if these people weren't sperging out over it.

Back during GG, a friend of mine made the joke that GG's successes were one part writing digging up the other side's laundry and three parts fucking up with the force of a nuclear device. I vaguely recall @AnOminous and @Batman VS Tony Danza making similar comments (that were, likewise, completely accurate).

GG's been over for 2 years, and without it doing the digging, the other side continues to oblige by fucking up.

I won't lie: A slightly different interpretation of the Cyberpunk Genre does sound neat to see.
It would but even then, some spergs still want to say this game is terrible because it misunderstands cyberpunk despite the fact they didn't play the game. Even then, their excuse is flimsy if they said they won't buy because the dev said some pro-gamergate shit three years ago.

That's another interesting part: Where the fuck is it written that these shitheads fucking own the genre?

Last I checked, all that was required for Cyberpunk was dystopian future, a sprinkling of future tech, and, ideally, some music by Powerglove.

Was it actually successful? I'll admit I naively believed all the mainstream negativity managed to tank it. Glad I'm wrong but still...
Like, there was that one interview the director had with some Australian morning news show and she constantly humiliated them and proved them wrong to the point they now try to pull the "interview" wherever it is. But no one's ever gonna bring up how wrong they were compared to the misinformation they spread.

Eh, even gaming media sites aren't that stupid. Chances are that it won't really hurt the game at all.
