Thread tax:
We receive a lot of product shipped from different countries where I work. Before reading this thread, I never paid much attention where things were made. Now? I am noticing a pattern. Many of the products I open from India smell. And where all other manufacturing countries wrap things in clear plastic, a good portion of India's products are wrapped in a gritty semi-opaque off-white plastic. It honestly feels dirty. Products shipped from there are also more likely to arrive damaged, such as towels growing mold because they were wet when they packaged them.

Don't buy things made in India.

Couldn't find a fucking Australian to do the job with 25% unemployment in Uni graduates in Victoria but theres jobs for Indian import with thick accents and a beer gut.
 
for H1b's, all they have to do is look at Canada as an example of what NOT to do. We have TFW's and companies having to get LMIA's. before, there were a bunch of limits that worked, but then the last idiot gt rid of most of that and now rife with fraud(you can already guess which country took advantage of that). Companies aid in that because the wages the company pays them are subsidized, so its literally cheaper for companies to do it. so, they need to make it fraud-proof, put limits on it, and make it so companies can't use it as a cost-cutting measure.

The indian worship is red pilling normies who, upon exposure, begin to commit acts known as "noticing".

Noticing involves, on simple terms, a slow soul crushingly realization that you live in clown world and you're the punchline. Suddenly a good chunk of culture, media, people and pretty much everything, becomes a concerningly high amount of "cringe and gay".

The Izzat post is illuminating but I'm cautious about it. In general I would recommend to be wary of any single concept that claims to explain the actions of a whole people. It reminds me of the people posting about the concept of a freier in Israel and using it to explain everything about Israelis when the same concept exists all over Eastern Europe across multiple countries.

Doing my part.

In a time when many American citizens are either unemployed or underemployed, turning a completely random selection system into a weighed selection system is ineffective. The H-1B program doesn't develop American talent. It contributes less to the American economy than having a fully-developed industrial base, and ultimately stifles America's own talent pool. It doesn't help that companies which use H-1B to obtain talent collapse under their own weight, since the talent pool they use rely on Izzat, among other face-oriented cultural systems. The shame-based nature of these systems reduces accountability and proactiveness among workers, which go on to hire their own— not Americans. This is an especially poor fit for certain industries, such as software and services, that are, honestly, decaying, and need serious reform. H-1B is ultimately a jugaad solution to wider socioeconomic problems that a lottery, no matter the weight, can not fix.

I just saw the reddit post and saw all of the people agreeing with this post with the few low-IQ Indians freaking the fuck out about it. There's a lot of coping going on. They're worried people might learn they are a nation of Ethan Ralphs.
 
For h1bs companies can recruit 1 expert a year at the cost of 1 billion usd a year. If that's not worth it, they can just recruit US born experts. That is what I'd want.
