It's so fucking sad. The Irish support brown Mohammaden terrorists because Israel works with the british and the British are evil. I've been to Ireland, the place is gorgeous but if you keep doing this you will destroy it.

All the left-wing nationalists are like this: we need independence from empires so we can import millions of blacks and browns.

Well, yes and no. There is a LOT of trackage that is no longer in use in the US because we no longer rely on rail service as much as we once did due to the advent of air travel and the interstate highway system. We used to rely on rail for pretty much all long distance travel for both passengers and cargo. That's not the case any longer. So a lot of the rail that used to link more rural areas is no longer in use. The rails tend to go from regional hub to regional hub, and then trucks take the cargo from those hubs to the rural areas. But yes, the rail lines that we still do have trace their origin to the 19th century and a lot of the lines are running over those same routes, while newer ones were also built to cut down time as engineering improved and we were able to cut through areas that we weren't able to back then.
The decline of rail in the US is understandable but undeniably miserable. Travelling by train is much more relaxing than by air and you don't get molested by the TSA in the process. About a year ago I visited a relative in the midwest by taking a train and I legitimately have never enjoyed travelling as much as I have on that trip. You see so much more of the country than when you're 35,000 feet up and can't see anything beyond the most basic details.

Sure, it took longer, but I didn't have to put up with airplanes or the people on them.

Looks like Aziz Ansari isn't doing so hot these days, lol. Back to his old rapey ways. Oh, it isn't that loser? They sorta look alike but I guess all living piles of shit look the same.

this will be when the FBI ACKs Kash and replace him with a more competent nigga and he'll be in "Valhalla"

It happened again. Indian ""tech engineers"" operating out of India somehow fucked up a telephone company firewall update so bad they locked some of their customers out of contacting emergency services, killing at least 3 people because they couldn't call ambulances...

A slap on the wrist, no worries.

I've always wanted to take a long train trip, like on the California Zephyr from end to end, and rent a sleeper unit. Or better yet, travel back to the golden age of rail travel in America in the 1930s or 1940s when you had both steam and diesel locomotives pulling passenger trains and every rail company was competing to offer the most comfortable and luxurious service possible. Back then you had trains like the Empire Builder, the Super Chief, the Chessie, and the Hiawatha. Train stations were like grand cathedrals because they were very often the first thing a new visitor to a city would see, and the city wanted to make a good first impression. Rail companies would often have unique features on their trains to compete with the other companies. For example, the dome car was invented for the California Zephyr because it's route went through the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and Utah, and customers wanted a better view of the mountains. The Hiawatha had their Skytop Lounge car, which was the last car on any Hiawatha consist and had a window lined beaver tail style with a seating area inside, where people could mingle and enjoy the view while drinking cocktails. It's really sad our culture moved away from things like this.

It's inconceivable to think that trains could look like this nowadays. Truly a relic of a different time period.
Not even Japan with their "safety" (that isn't all that safe from groping and perverts) has had this.

It's more typical jeet "no u" insulting caused by their severe lack of IQ and their severe narcissism. Fat American white dude weebs are usually the most respectful to Japanese culture, probably due to their autism being similar to the collective autism of the Japanese. Jeets on the other hand don't give a shit about the Japanese or their culture, it's just yet another economic zone for them to plunder and a place to try and do the non-consensual (s)needful with an unsuspecting woman. They act the same no matter if they are airdropped in Japan or Canada or Venezuela or Slovakia or fucking Kazakhstan.

They have women's only wagons to solve this issue.

Airplanes used to be more like this as well. With a bar, more space, expensive meals, etc. Plane tickets were price-controlled so the only way to get customers was by making the ride more luxurious. Planes just have business class (without as many features) for that, because 90% of the people prefer to suffer through economy class to save the money. Trains meanwhile don't have rich customers left to sell expensive mountain view seats to. I believe the orient express and trans siberian express still exist in some revived form, but those are as expensive as plane travel and at that point most people just pick the plane. The only non-plane cross-country travel that remains are the really cheap options like greyhound.
