There are definitely other types and styles of Fried Chicken. Chinese cuisine loves to fry meat and put it in sauce - look at how they worship chicken and pig in food. - Which fair play, it is nice. And how can one not love a good stir fry?

A lot of that stuff is just southern food (that yes derived from scots irish that were indentured or poor free men settling in those areas [and also heavily inspired by a mix of French depending on the area]) but with even more sodium.
