The majority of games do work on Linux now but we're still not seeing the fabled mass exodus from Windia 11. People are fucking lazy, and for all the faults 11 has it still "just works" for the most part. Steam OS isn't going to magically transform Linux into something it isn't and fix all of its flaws.
