The point isn't to help those who are addicted by means of some legal bandaid, the point is to have an already abstinent community, and when the foreigner comes to corrupt your morals and your customs, to create a demand where there previously was none, you kill him. Even you can even prevent one child from falling into pornography, even if you're otherwise completely impotent in your prohibition, that is still a success. Even if you punish only one pornographers, and all the others flee to live in luxury in Costa Rica, you have done justice to the world, and that justifies the entier endeavour.

Here’s where my personal, somewhat religious views come into play. I believe that the bedrock of society is the family unit in every regard. I want men to abstain, and I want women to only choose men who live up to that standard. We can have all the laws on Earth, but if guys and gals don’t personally morally support the reason for those laws they are next to useless.
Same with the men, don’t pick girls who don’t live up to these standards and after a while society will adapt by necessity.
And with drugs, as a side, I don’t think full legalization is a good idea for most illegal drugs, but rather more sensible discussions and penalties than what we have now.

Notice how they always have to slide into strawman arguments about drugs, CP, whatever the fuck else. It's because they know adult porn is relatively harmless on their own and they sound stupid talking about it in those terms, so better change the subject and then pretend like that weak-ass logic covers the non-strawman position.

Are they strawman arguments if they are attacking the industry as a whole? I don't think people opposing porn do think adult porn is relatively harmless, even if only adults were viewing it. To artificially separate the legal from the illegal parts of the industry seems incredibly naive, like setting the legal and illegal parts of the motor industry apart, have you heard of Dieselgate? The porn industry, like most, is riddled with abusers and sharks attracted to the money.

Putting it another way: if in a debate about child murder both sides agree late term and even full term abortions are very rare compared to much earlier killings of the growing child (even if they don't agree it is a child), they can still include that horror in the overall discussion, but exclude it from the portion of it centered on early term abortion.
Similarly discussing the currently legal (in most places) pornography we can set aside CP/rape materials etc. when discussing the legal materials, but include the illegal ones when talking about the overall industry. Perhaps a better analogy might be including illegal vs legal abortions in a discussion about abortions.

Those are "Mother Goddess" statues and are hardly porn, plus in ancient time there was religious, "sacred" prostitution. That is still not porn.
And some of those statues are having agricultural motifs, like things growing out of them, so yeah they are fertility-linked.
I would suggest reading Mircea Eliade's History of Religions for more details on this sort of arcane stuff.
