I'm not going to make a thread about this forum in the Lolcow section, 1. Because a lot of the people there are pretty normal, and 2. The thread would get locked, but I sometimes check on a Christian forum I used to be a member of when I was a believer. Here are a couple funny posts.

This was a recent prayer request,

"I would like someone to pray for me to have the chance to obtain time travel and go back and fix a little bit of small stuff in my life."

Ah another gem.

"I took bio and i learn heaps of evolution theories from Darwin which are all bullcrap."

Why would anyone want to time travel just to fix a little bit of small stuff in his/her life instead of moving on considering it's small stuff?

Or, like, at least go back and shoot Adolph Hitler in the face.

I don't know which one is better, Internet Explorer or Firefox, because I feel like changing browsers.

IE doesn't support HTML 5, which can be a problem on many websites, so I'd go with Firefox.

I found another troll post on that Christian forum I used to be on, at least I hope its a troll. The thread is titled, "Am I a prophet?",

"sometimes I will have a dream here and there good or bad(not bad like a nightmare but bad like I fear it might happen and sometimes my dreams do become reality like six years ago I had a dream about history homework and near the end of the semester we got it, or I had a dream that someone blasphemed God and I beat the snot out of them a few years later it happened I was expelled(looking back on it I went a little too far but It was worth it. I didn't like that school anyway.)"

I think I am a prophet too, I once had a dream where I was at school, and guess where I was the next day? Also, note the complete lack of punctuation.

My eyes. And dreams can actually cause him to believe that he's a prophet...

Hey, hey, guess who needs a $240 tune up for her 23-year-old car? Months after she spent nearly $600 for other repairs?

GodBeardammit, buying a new car at this point would be a lot cheaper. (I do plan on buying one within the next two years, but I'd like to save up at least $2K for a good down payment. Makes monthly payments a teensy bit easier to handle.)

>> and sometimes my dreams do become reality like six years ago I had a dream about history homework and near the end of the semester we got it<<

Well he would know all the answers then!

I had dreams about stuff, usually a scene from a TV show, and sometimes I'd see it later that day.

I never thought of myself as a prophet. I just thought I had no life

Oh, I've had a few of those "future dreams." They'd be about mundane things, though, nothing spectacular. For example, like a dream about getting a knife from the dishwasher, noticing my cactus needing water, and then for some reason putting the knife back in favor of watering the cactus. A few days or weeks later, the very thing will happen in real life, in those exact steps, and then I'll stop and go, "Wait, what?..."

I wish my cooler dreams would come true. This morning, I had one where I had an umbrella that had a twisty top that activated a flying mechanism. I used it to fly to a county fair a mile away. :) Didn't like how the steel rod felt rubbery when the umbrella increased its speed, though.

What's the best way to search for a torrent? I'm having the worst time trying to look for something really specific (the 1995 vma award show, not clips but the whole show) and when I search on google I just get a bunch of junk.

Lately my cat has been sleeping everywhere from tubs, to cupboards to trashcans. Wish I knew how to stop him...

Obtain dog. Tell cat he is no longer desired.

Alternatively, place his bed anywhere you don't want him to sleep, and watch him sleep somewhere safe and out of the way because he is a cat and thinks it will frustrate you. Or put a shoe box in your room and watch him sleep there all day because cats like to pretend to be contortionists. But above all, you really shouldn't listen to me because I've never owned a cat before.

Grumble dump ahoy!
I have to start taking insulin for this stupid gestational diabetes, which means more needles in my life. Plus biweekly visits to the doctor's for non-stress tests. And potentially getting induced. I really just want to fast forward through the rest of this pregnancy alreadyyyyyyyy. *SIGH*

Finally watched the infamous Miley performance, I still think Paula Abdul's 1991 vma performance was wayyyy worse:

Especially the part where she Mr. Burns it up and says:

"THE VIBES. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!?" (does Mr. Burns’ “excellent” thing with her hands)

So... Nintendo has announced about the 2DS, which looks like a slice of bread.

So it seems my girlfriend wants to take a break. Feeling not so good.

Hey, hey, guess who needs to get new tires right after getting a full tune up for her 23-year-old car? The cords are starting to show, too! *cartwheels of absolute joy*

That's shitty and I don't know what to say but I've been there. :heart-empty:

The other day one of my customers told me I looked like Gene Simmon's daughter. He legit mentioned it three times and made me google her.

...the resemblance is actually scary.
