It’s about a year too early for any FF7R3 news and we have to wait a decade between mainline installments now. Also, isn’t SE going through some major restructuring? It’s not looking good for the company right now.

Clive doesn't die, he makes it back to Jill and goes on to write "Final Fantasy" and pen it under his brother's name, they hint at this many times in the plot, and Clive already is fond of taking other's names and doing good in them
 
The stockholder drama bothers me. If square gets new management I doubt things will get much better.
 
I saw a blurb about a “Final Fantasy 9 remake series confirmed” and got excited for a second, but I guess “Final Fantasy 9 animated adaptation confirmed” wasn’t clickbaity enough for a title. :(

Well yeah. She is actually an autistic Japanese guys’ take on a white girl.

It’s actually pretty comical how blatant the bitter behavior is. Goes completely unnoticed by a lot of Based Chuds of course. Not only are they usually openly colored women, even when they’re anon they get mad about her hair and her eyes. Which is like the batsignal for bitter brownfoid resentment.

It's not like Tifa is particularly brown-coded either though. I guess they kid themselves that the red is close enough to brown eyes.

They do. Nor are they all Asian like she is. They just like that a famous game features a non-white girl getting Bleached (no biological kids though).

It's not even an adaptation. Unless the new studio decides to massively change direction, it's some pseudo-sequel starring Vivi's kids and some gay OCs.
