streamlink tends to be more reliable for active livestreams. I run the command streamlink --hls-live-restart -o out.mp4 "URLHERE" best and that gets the job done nicely.

Yeah on anything but a plain Windows setup it'd be as simple as a oneliner like that, and then just a shell history lookup over and over. On Windows though... the simplest damned thing needs a dedicated script just to not be annoying.

PowerShell is cross-platform now and object-based pipelines are really damn good, so I strongly recommend giving PowerShell 7 a shot... it's very flexible and is stupidly fast for batch operations. I could PM you the script I use for streamlink if you'd like
