Of course, but there's a natural back and forth to the negotiation of these situations even when both parties are agreeable. Ralph's opening move in the "negotiation" was to insist that escrow be arranged within not even days but hours of his demands. Somebody who's invested in a fight, and especially somebody who had already witnessed the process of a messy negotiation go down, would have known that he was making demands with the knowledge that they could not be met.

Ask yourself, while going over the screenshots and stream recordings of him talking about this, if this was a sign that Ralph was trying to sabotage the fight or if it was a sign that he was serious about it going forward.

PPP and Godwinson sperging the opposite doesn´t change facts, but it´s funny to see how so many runs with it

Playing Devil's advocate here, it could also be the demands of a delusional and narcissistic alcoholic who's overwhelming sense of importance and self-entitlement have him majorly overestimating his worth and bargaining position.

I saw Janny Jersh in PPPs stream chat doing something similar to this the other day. He refused to acknowledge Zoom. When PPP said he wanted Janny Jersh to talk to Zoom he got pissy, threatening to leave the stream chat. He said something like "I defended you against Ralph when he called you a pedo." Trying to pull some kind of friendly favor from PPP. Josh has been involving himself and doing something so fucking bizarre I can only describe it as reverse a-logging. He's trying to be everyone's internet fwend in this online spectacle, and he's doing it out of a sense of self justified fart-sniffing. Now he's backing out? Now he's "had it," after involving himself time and time again in these self gratifying volatile episodes?

Keep in mind this is the same guy who tried to claim that Dick Masterson's minecraft dirt-block house in a desert biome is a mansion. This is the same guy who went on Dick Masterson's show and shit talked PPP. This is the same guy who went into Ethan Ralph's DMs saying Godwinson's money offer is a "joke" to Ethan ralph.

Everyone involved in this is an Internet tough guy who makes a living off being an Internet tough guy. Their online persona relies too much on being stubborn assholes always "winning" against each other for them to ever resolve anything in any way conclusively like in a direct confrontation.

If they confront each other in a stream nothing would change, both sides would claim they won in their own private circles and they'd continue hating each other. This will just lead to more shitflinging and twitter posts and angry streams that eventually will end with threatening each other in an IRL fight. That's the only way to escalate and they'll always escalate because they're tough guys who never back down. But this IRL fight will never happen because it risks them losing their tough guy persona and their fickle audience who blindly follow whomever they think is the biggest tough guy.

You can't claim you're a tough guy that always wins and never backs down in your after-stream if you got punched in the face by the other guy and tapped out. Instead they'll just stoke the flames of hatred in their own stream hugboxes, never backing down from any threat or call-out but never confronting them head on either, and they'll permanently be unable to get over their issues with each other.

Which suits them just fine because unresolved animosity creates drama and that's how these people survive.

as i read the tweet im not going to dig 450+ pages for, Gunt wanted an agreement somehow magically turning up without him doing any actual legwork. and then he probably thought Godwinson was full of it(!) and that would make content for his stream
