Why did they switch up Soulja Boy's "one true love" from the Crimson Countess to Stormfront/Liberty? What was the point to that, or did they forget they had already run that plot thread to completion?
They really just trashed the entire show, if not entire series, to focus on selling the Vought Rising prequel. Hughie is mostly absent despite being the main character at one point. Butcher is just wandering in circles and literally just lets Homelander go free from a radiation prison. Ryan? Marie? Gen V? They've introduced another half dozen superheroes yet again just to kill them off. Including at least three from Vought Rising. This "last season" really feels like a promotional tool for the next prequel than a real conclusion.

We're already seeing the Game of Thrones season eight comparisons as well from even the most diehard fans.

This needs to be a soyjak. Green Reddit go!

Starlight's dialogue mourning Firecracker, as if this entire show isn't about how life is a worthless joke and religion is evil for daring to believe otherwise, sums up how double-dealing the morality of the "people" who make this is.

Chiming in for a rare positive moment in my opinion.

The interaction between The Legend and Homelander was surprisingly nice. It really sells perfectly how much Homelander is really just a little scared boy blessed with godly strength, and the shock and uncertainty expressed in homelander’s face when The Legend shows that he isn’t just unafraid, but genuinely expresses care for what homelander went through growing up that made him what he is.
The Legend articulates it not with contempt or disdain like Gus Fring, or with pure hate like Butcher, but as a genuine equal. Homelander is so utterly confounded and probably nervous by the real kindness, he allows The Legend to walk away. Genuinely amazing acting and a heartfelt moment, too bad most of the show is dumb sex jokes, religious mockery, and gratuitous gore.
Very rare bravo Boy’s writers.

Kripke is such a shit writer that most likely surrounds himself with sycophants and yes-men, sucking the farts out of his asshole telling everything he does is super intellectual. Everything feels rushed and yes, the ending is a shitty promotion for the spin-off. The characters have been dumbed down so much. Sisters Sage is supposed to be the smartest person on the planet but didn’t think to reverse-engineer Soldier Boy’s blood to recreate V1? Also…if Soldier Boy is able to blast the powers out of supes, why doesn’t it effect him? There are so many things that don’t make sense.

This is generally just one of the things you have to suspend disbelief over for superhero stories. They have immunity to their own powers or else it just complicates world building. A fire thrower can't burn their own skin. Someone with ice powers can't accidentally freeze themselves. Someone with ultra fast speed has a brain that isn't affected by g-forces. Power punchers can never break their hands throwing their hardest shots. Homelander's lasers burn through his arm but never blind him. Oh Father's ears are impervious to his sound blasting.

The rules never make sense. Which is why capeshit can never really rise above its own mediocre beginnings. Where is Kimiko getting the physical matter to just instantly regenerate? How does Little Cricket grow large or shrink small? How can heroes with flight move through the air? If Compound V is injected in someone what if they bleed out and need a blood transfusion?

The more you think about this stuff the less you will enjoy comic book stories and shows.

He also gave Omelonder' the idea to track Golden Geisha with the panic button necklace.

Even from beyond the grave and through a shitty satire character Stan Lee is still the man lmao

Of course, Butcher is willing to let Soldier Boy's fight play out instead of going in to smash the V with his OP tentacles based on Sage's dumb ass reassurance.

She'll say this whilst still having no guilt over the innocent man she killed back in season 2.
