Although to be fair, since Compound V was released into the wild several seasons ago, and use of it was approved of by the US government, I'm wondering why the cops, the feds, and the military don't have their own supes by now. Since Compound V use was legalized in the previous seasons when they found terrorists with Compound V, so the Feds, the police, and the military ought to have their own supe-squads by now, not just Vought. The fact that Singer and the Feds are so under-equipped when it comes to taking down Homelander and Neuman makes no fucking sense. They should have an army of their own Supes ready to tear Homelander limb from limb.
It really feels like the writers introduced the concept of people outside Vought/the US having access to Compound V, then they just forgot about it. When President Guy was talking about banning supes from the military, all anyone would need to counter is "well what about China and Russia?" And they'd be absolutely right. But they can't say that of course, and not just because naming China as a villain will piss off the stinky chinkies. It's because that would be a nuclear deterrent, and as every shitlib knows, that's le bad.

Or they're just waiting for Smartest Shaneequa Sister Sage to blurt it out as the next part of her 9000 IQ plan while all the previously smart characters clap their hands like retarded circus seals and fawn over how heckin' smart Dinduisha is.

I just watched the 2 first episodes because I wanted to know how gay and retarded they made it out of curiosity. It was a mistake... I haven't seen such a gay and retarded show on my screen willingly in my life, Jesus it's really bad.

> smartest person
> bantu sheboon

I fucking lost it.

> French guy
> now a nigger loving faggot

Oh vey, who wrote this I wonder.

> human centipede
> the whole "view" of it

Entertainment? TV show?

Isn't heckling drumpf le bad? Le literal hitler?
Wow this TV villain has lost all traits that made him interesting and complex, and is just le heckling rightoid drumpf.

We must hate cause rightoid bad, and drumpf literal evil. How else we gon know it's evil unless we directly corelate to drumpf.

Haha epic own rightoids.

This show has terminal aids and every character acts retarded 24/7 to justify the shitty plot lurching forward. Also I'm sick and tired of looking at/listening to the pug faced dyke.

I just wanna rant about sister sage
fuck this character, seriously. if it's something the boys didn't need was a fucking mary sue that's "the smartest person ever" like nigga if this was S1 homelander he would have just gave that whore a concussion and call her ass useless. (which she is) - literally every line of dialogue feels like some nigger self-insert that wants to be mentally superior to the white folk. the end of the 3rd episode is deep and sage eating a fucking blooming onion and having sex in her goon room, anytime she's on screen she's an actual annoyance and has 0 character either than "i'm the smartest :3"
and then the tweets about how smug they were about "shit they got away with" nigga you can't top an ant man going inside of a dick. the 3 episodes that were released were actually pretty tame compared to the last season.
yeah i can't believe you got away with adding the most retarded ass nigger sue to a tv show either. blows my mind.
She is very annoying on the whole, but the last scene in episode 3 was pretty funny. It looked like she lobotomized herself with an ice pick in order to get on The Deep's intellectual level. On the slideshow it showed her having "moderate regeneration" so it's probably a temporary thing unfortunately.

Holy shit this doesn't even get into the "the guy was a pedophile" scene, where maybe I'm wrong, but it sounded a lot like they were parodying Kyle Rittenhouse, and if that's the case I have no idea how you rationalize siding with the pedophile.
Yeah there were a ridiculous number of Rittenhouse references.
- "He just threw a water bottle"
- The pedophile thing, with Firecracker claiming bathtub photos made him a pedo (except Rosenbaum was actually convicted of sexually assaulting a minor)
- Quoting the judge in the trial scene, "don't get brazen with me" and the bit about referring to the deceased as a victim

It's hilarious how a few days ago they were trying to spin it as being prescient about Trump being on trial, when really they are making dated references to the Rittenhouse trial that are going over peoples' heads.

Yeah but at least UwU Waifu Firecracker called him a surrender monkey
The conspiracy convention had those "Starlight is a lizard person???" posters, they should have had a before/after plastic surgery comparison explaining how she got replaced by a lizard doppelganger.

This showed up in my recommended on YouTube, and honestly, it really rankled me.

First of all, it's gay retarded 'war on Christmas' culture war shit that feels so fucking done to death - like, weren't we literally having this 'Happy Holidays vs. Merry Christmas' discourse over ten fucking years ago at this point? I remember Bill O'Reilly talking about that shit IN 20-FUCKING-12. Possibly earlier.

Second of all, I'm not against le fedora tippy anti-religious sentiment in The Boys - that's who Garth Ennis is, and that's how his work always has been. That's a staple Ennisian trope. However, Garth Ennis is a working class boy from Belfast who literally grew up during the Troubles, where sectarian violence was just the background noise of every day life. I think he has a right to be anti-religious if he wants to be, bearing in mind where he came from.

So, I'm not against the scene in principle, despite it being very dated and old hat in 2024. But, I do take umbrage with Eric Kripke writing this scene.

Eric Kripke didn't live that life. He doesn't come from that world. He isn't writing this from any place deeper than the fact that conservatives tend to be religious and that annoys him personally. He's also Jewish, so he, from a spiritual perspective, doesn't even believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ anyway, so it means nothing to him if he mocks people that do.

But more than anything - and I'm speaking as someone who doesn't have any religious beliefs whatsoever - what is wrong with the statement 'Let's put Christ back in Christmas'? As a slogan, it places an emphasis on the holiday's religious and cultural significance, rather than the more consumerist secular interpretation of Christmas we tend to see nowadays. It's not offensive, or hateful, or bigoted in and of itself. The scene doesn't even successfully highlight the irony of this message coming from the uber-corporate Vought International, highlighting how people's religious beliefs have become just another commodity under capitalism. It's just Eric Kripke pointing at people he doesn't like and going, "That's you, that is."

The show going to shit is really a symptom of taking something interesting then inventing shit to extend it past where it should be. These companies like to take a good story and just run it into the ground instead of letting it end as it did the original. I've been watching outer range and it in no way needed to go to 3+ seasons, if it even gets 3 seasons. Tokyo vice was canned because it went to shit and overstayed its welcome. We all know what they did to the corpse of TWD. The boys needs a re-adaption that follows the GN without all the modern politics. Yes, its always been political but its beyond cringe what they are are shoehorning in.

TL;DR: Allow shows to end and stick to source material.

Becky (or Becca, as she is in the show, for some seemingly arbitrary reason) should have stayed dead, like she was in the comics. The big reveal at the end of the first season was a mistake.

Kripke killed her off at the end of season two anyway, and all that having her alive all that time did was set up Ryan who is more of a plot device than a character anyway.

Did anything really worthwhile happen in this first drop?
I ask this as someone who actually watched it, I remember almost nothing I wouldn't describe as filler

Those first 3 episodes were nothing. Not a single thing of any consequence happened.

Erin Moriarty looks like she has AIDS. She went from "cute girl next door" to "is she okay?".

I fully expected them to kill off the Christ actor in that scene. I was honestly surprised when it did not happen.

The biggest tragedy this season is, once again, seeing how Erin Moriarty butchered her face via plastic surgery.

I'm not even bothered by Sister Sledge

They should've stuck with the Black Noir/Homelander angle and The Boys being V'd up from the start like in the comics. Instead they tried their own thing, which worked in the first season but then they started to write themselves in a corner halfway through the second and now they don't know what to do. The only thing positive i can say about the show in its current state is at least it is not as bad as the Preacher adaption. That one was a travesty right from the start. I hate Seth Rogen.
