This is what I don’t understand about furry cosplay (or western cosplay in general).
In Japan the people spend 2 years making sure that their costume is impeccable. They keep their bodies thin, and emerse themselves into the role. These costumes are beautiful and deserve the attention they receive.

Meanwhile at the furry con, not one, not two, but a buncha guys/girls just hot glue-gunned some dixi cups, and faux pink furr toghether, and are wearing it as if they know deep in their hearts that this is a good representation of themselves.

Side views looks like two different suit heads and the front view is just awful.

Western kids (many of them now-adults) for YEARS have been told they're good at stuff they're not good at (everyone gets a trophy etc) so when they try it and horrifically suck at it people give them asspats anyway because "don't wanna hurt 27 year old still living in parents' house Tina's feelings that her funfur abomonation she made with pringles cans is actually fucking terrible so just say it's amazing or whatever"

Kinda wish we could just tell people they blow at something so they try harder or quit, some people just ain't meant to make dumb furry costumes
 
Someone should tell lemonbrat to stick to cheaply made ears and hoodies, jfc. Abysmal quality for $1k+ suits
