If I remember rightly, Beauty of the Bass is based off of a UK theme park ride called "The Smiler" and existed before FNaF did. It's quite an old suit.

Did you even read the wiki link you posted? They're a builder, which means 2 things:

1. Rolling in dough
2. Probably made a good bit of the suits themselves

The craftmanship on some of those looks impressive.
Not sure about the green paw pads, but the color combination of the fur really works.

The idea of having the same character made into fursuits by as many different suit makers as possible is actually probably pretty helpful to other consumers since they can notice all kinds of little differences.

Did you even read the wiki link you posted? They're a builder, which means 2 things:

1. Rolling in dough
2. Probably made a good bit of the suits themselves

a lot of these makers are pretty expensive (including my personal favorite, mischeif makers despite the major sameface syndrome)

That actually makes a weird kind of sense, from a theatrical costuming/fx point of view, even if the photos look like the world's worst Where's Waldo sequel. Which makers try doing the "digitigrade" leg padding, and which of those look decent vs. like Torgo from Manos: Hands of Fate? Which makers have succumbed to that trend of just cutting the ears as huge, non-anatomical triangle flaps that look like missile fins or those things on Splatoon kids, and make the suit look like the head is about to fly away without the body?

This is kind of neat! It's interesting to see all the differences between them. That last photo has probably over $20k worth of suits in it, if we estimate that each is around $2k. Makes me wonder how they store all these things. Do they get an insurance policy on them?

Actually there's a pretty big subcommunity of taxidermy and vulture culture furries. Most of them are teen girls making shitty soft mounts and the professional taxidermy guys hate 'em and like to bitch on taxidermy.net about them. Posterchild is ItsProbablyMars/VitaNovaTaxidemy/Nakomii, well known scammer who was fired from her taxidermy apprenticeship for not wanting to follow the professional's guidelines. She's also sent wet pelts full of bugs which is a fucking health hazard. Oh, and has also sent stuff with black mold growing on it if I recall correctly.

Is there a thread about this? Sounds like a somewhat interesting topic on its own.

I've been thinking about making Mars + rabid Mars haters thread or a general VC thread. There's a ton of exceptional individuals in the VC community, ranging from drama monger scammers to flat out insane Stephanie-type people.
