I believe she tried to donate to their show during the crowd funding campaign because she liked their project. One or a few of the people on the project H A T E her and gave back her money as a "go fuck yourself". Apparently some industry drama-shit behind the scenes. Old-ass drama lore, I gotta' be real it's was kind of gay on their end as much as she deserves it.

It's infuriating how obvious this should've been, this solves every issue with the show. The obvious twist wouldn't matter and characters could actually be the main focus of the plot and their development could reach a resolution. The show could actually explore existential topics outside of the pilot and the one scene with the crocodile guy. The show's stated theme of "There's meaning to be found in a stagnant life" would actually make fucking sense since the show would be nothing but them finding just that.
Unfortunately this would require that Nooseworx be capable of writing dynamic characters instead of meaningless Tumblr therapy sessions and arguments disguised as character development.
The idea that it was just the finale that was bad or that the premise was fundamentally flawed are red herrings, Cooper is just a bad writer. At no point did xey know where the show was going, how it would resolve, or why anything was happening at all. To Cooper the show was just him playing with dolls, he wasn't thinking of it as a story, he was thinking of it as funny adventures with his OCs. This is why no one has any character development whatsoever and why the show has no actual plot. This is confirmed by his most recent tweet where he states that he "kind of just wanted to make a cartoon" to explain why he didn't give a shit that his movie got leaked and Glitch just got completely fucked. Because he's mentally a child. The entirety of TADC was no different than AO3 smut to him.

The finale followed the same tropey cadence most shows like this always do. If anything, the ending was too conventional. Jax's digital clone abstracted but the real Jax did find friends and get a job and touch grass, etc. I think you're all a bunch of tranny obsessed creatively sterile chud dorks who don't know how to process even middling art like this. There's a reason why the tranny therapy show thread is the most active on this board right now but the Chinese cat torture cult thread died months ago. Cope and seethe, seethe and cope.

That is not what is really intended here, although the point that it is trying to make (being one of acceptance) is done so poorly it comes off that way. When you are a deeply spiteful faggot retard, it will bleed over into any artistic endeavour you do. Cooper probably also wrote this entire thing ape'ing other sci-fi horror literature and inserting his self-induced tranny suffering into it.

I always had an issue with how the show always described itself as "horror" because the weight of the unbearable weight of living forever in a cyber prison is one that has zero weight in this show. There is no real investment into feeling a similar way these characters do. You easily could explore "well, what would it be like to live on in here forever even if all of our IRL versions eventually rot away and die?". But that is too interesting for a show of this nature, which is partly designed for ego-stroking and merch.

When all you ever watch is Disney growing up, you will be naturally inclined to do this. I guess there is the point of "silver-lining" but it would be better if the characters were able to simply move on and not look back. Rather merely accept what happens has happened and cannot change. All very surface level rhetoric on "muh everything is so evil and bad just le accept it at the end of the day!". Also I do not think Cooper intended the show to get this big but he likely gets off to all the asspats he gets from the ending.

A lot of people also do fundamentally disagree with the idea because it requires you to stop trying to find a way out in the first place. We could've had dialectics about this had cooper not been a total retard who was given the greenlight for this. Seems every show just has bad endings nowadays.

I would be far more forgiving to this slop as just being an amateur project if it wasn't for the fact that DHMIS did everything this show sets out to be in a better way possible and did it a decade earlier. Just the behind the scenes of Don't Hug Me just shows you how damn impressive the work went into those shorts and the tv series.
But hey bad entertainment will always exist and I had fun watching Null and PPP suffer through it. Just crazy that this youtube slop gets a theatrical release.

Unlikely. Unless they royally fuck up and hire Ty Beard or something, Glitch will shrug off those suits like water off a raincoat because suicide liability doesn't work that way. By and large in the legal system, most people are responsible for their own deaths.

And that's a good thing. It would be a worrying precedent to increase the liability of suicide like that. The minute it happens, you bet trannies would start suing us for all the suicides we supposedly caused.
