HE'S GONNA ABSTRACT AND NOT COME BACK LIKE JAX LOOK OUT!

The ending was so predictable that MatPat of all people called it 3 years ago

With how the ending doesn't line up with anything else presented plot wise up to this point and all shit gets dropped for it I'm betting they pulled a "hello neighbor" and changed shit specifically to make matpat "right".

Holy shit, Michael Kovach is the thinnest one in the cast lineup LMAO

Edit: Also, there's a huge problem with the end as-is. You can only be happy for so long spending time with the same people. At some point, you're going to run out of things to do. At some point, you need fresh input, need to meet new people. And what if someone pulls the plug? I feel like they just delayed the inevitable. Everyone is going to go insane regardless.

Do you remember those Top 10 articles that were titled something like "Happy movie endings that werent so happy once you started to think about" ? Most of them involved overthinking and even some stretching in some cases.

I think TADC is one of those where it all seems happy and fine but if you think about it for more than 10 seconds, its actually extremely bleak in the long run. They are AI but with the self awareness of humans and that will ultimately fuck them over in the long run.

All that assuming that the city Hall doesnt notice that this random building still is connected to the powergrid and shut off the power.

You CAN argue there is some fanfiction fuel here with the gang being forced to escape to the Intenet and all the insanity that can come from that (like Ralph Wrecks the Internet but somehow even more autistic). But as is, we got, in TV Trope's terms, an "Allegedly Optimistic Ending".

Arguably the most interesting thing that we hadn't seen with the prior leak, was that Caine was about to create a second Circus with another instance of Scratch and the initial brain scans. He already made that Scratch -- what became of him? It's like they couldn't help themselves but throw another interesting plot element in at the very last second, only to discard that too.
What‽ I hadn't heard this yet.

So... if Caine can just have do-overs ad infinitum. Why does any of his actions in the entire series make sense? He should not be desperate to run out of humans, not be desperate to lose track of who is human and who is not, and should not be desperate- oh forget it I could go on.

I expected a lame end, but this is insulting.
