So, basically GLITCH thought they could outdo Disney and Toy Story 5, with a "movie" that is basically a long drawn out Steven Universe style therapy session.
Even the word delusional falls short. No wonder GW was vague posting about not being happy about it being on theaters. Even he knew this wouldn't work as a movie.
Imagine all the kids that were begging their parents to watch a fun adventure with their favorite cartoon characters doing, silly jokes, thrilling action scenes, and all they will get is their favorite funny rabbit killing himself ( not even on screen), in the first 8 minutes, and everything else is just them crying, and browsing the internet.
It's already underwhelming as a finale let alone a movie that was supposed to destroy Disney at the box office.

It’s full of ‘censored’ profanity and has a lot of overtly dark references to depression and suicide and yet it’s animated like a Elsagate video with the saturation turned up to the max and everything is rendered to look like a Fisher-Price toy. Also it’s based on a bleak af Harlan Ellison story but has a lot of ‘lol random and quirky’ humor. The finale only makes me more confused. What child wants to watch a glorified therapy session where one of the main characters kills themselves?

GLITCH and GW play dumb, but they know damn well it's the iPad kid generation that makes the vast majority of viewers. And they look the other way because that's their main source of money.
To be fair it does have an adult fan base as proven by this thread. They are just vastly outnumbered by kids.
All, that merch, toys and content farms are clearly designed to profit from the vast kid audience. Yet a kid's show shouldn't have a sex scene like they did.
This finale combined with the earlier heel turn of gooseworx attempting to fix the perception of being "racist" by siccing fans ont he guy that referenced how stupid the nega outrage was in a joke vid and told people that found it funny to kill themselves really kind of stirred something in me. One day, even if it's when I'm too old to properly progress, I will progress but my resentment for what hollow shells people have let themselves become will never fucking leave me.

You can make a cartoon without subverting it last second to garbage and telling people who had similar humor to you before you got framed as racist for saying nega as a nigga joke by the people you decided to lick the boot of that they should die and have no value in life. That's why I was shocked when I learnt that they actually killed Napoleon off in that new god awful Animal Farm movie. I was expecting them to pull the "villain sees the error of his ways, feels guilt, rebels against the person taking advantage of him, apologizes, everything is forgiven, dance party" thing that many media likes to do nowadays.

the film depicts a heartwarming mural / memorial near the end of the film, although it hilariously only contains jax/kaufmo/ribbit and the first wave that entered along kinger. people only known by a now heavily demented kinger get included, people known by both him and a still perfectly sane ragatha get thrown out.
