I think this was ultimately the whole message of this show.

But this was far better addressed in Blade Runner, so I ultimately don’t blame you for sympathizing with the message,

StilL, I do think some people would go mad or even suicidal regardless of age group with such reveal. Some people do believe in a higher purpose (ask anyone that is religious) or care about being real, or being real to the people they love.

Ultimately it depends on your point of view.

i like your perspective on TADCs message but to be honest it never really felt like that was the focus. it was sort of more just an unravel of a mystery; a prison break to reach freedom. it was to break free from tyranny (Caine) and to have a strong will (the conjuration stuff and the determination to overthrow Caine)

I agree with you. In fact I was personally drawn by the horror aspects on top of that.

But considering Goose work said his main theme was "finding meaning in an stagnant life" sadly I think his message was ultimately more hollow than we all expected.

I mean I've seen reactions tot he leaks but I haven't seent he scenes like spliced or anything yet. The blank intro is pure edit fodder even with the shitty watermark.

This nigga hasn't even begun to live a stagnant life. My ass has been in stagnant hell for over a decade life wise and it is not even equatable to this fucking "nothing matter they all brain scan!" shit. I am tired of being pushed around by people handed successful lives and being told I'm every negative thing in existence. I am tired of so much shit you would not even believe. "nah bro the message is there's meaning in a stagnant life totally nobodys real and nothing matters that's totally the same thing as being increasingly stressed about a lost future and past!" You NEED to keep trying. Every day is a struggle session and I'm burnt the fuck out of life but I gotta keep fucking trying.

It's always either this false relatable wholesome shit with an underlying current of "give up" from people who see you as their lesser or the fucking shit where they throw away their cushy job and career to do something retarded like try and shoot up a building for reddit clout.

There's some talk/coping-and-sneeding in various forums about Goose reworking the ending in response to fans. Or critics as some kind of 'fuck you'.

Personally, I think the truth is much more boring and cruel. This is exactly the story Goose wanted to tell and no-one liked it. And they hated how he told it. A story that took three years to complete, so he was protected from judgement until today. Now the world has the complete package to form a consensus upon.

I almost feel bad for Goose. That's gotta hurt.

Honestly, I thought Episode 3 was probably the best the show ever was. I found myself chuckling at some of the gags, which isn't saying a lot, but for this show, it's something. The characters were fleshed out (until later), and the plot moved drastically with Kinger. The show only headed downwards since. (I don't actually remember much of it, I plan on rewatching the show for the finale, but it's the one that always stuck to me and I considered good.)

However, I am not surprised the show decided to pull a 41% like that.
