Hang the fuck on, even if Jax is a tranny in the Circus, clearly his RL counterpart didn't give into faggotry and is still a dude (and apparently has a stable job as a delivery man and shit?)

> Be trans and literally fucking die forever

> Don't be trans and have a normal life

The jokes write themselves kek
It's funny how it's always trannies that are almost always the ones who end up making self-owns for themselves and or other trannies when they're tasked with writing anything at all, implied or not.

I have no clue who any of these people are but they look like stock image people rather than people that'd represent the characters which furthers my stance of this all being last minute or at least recent. Like god damn it this is now just reminding me of how the animated gridman "reboot/twist sequel" from years back did the thing where it was like "yeah all the characters are actually in a simulated pocket dimension they can't get out of" and then had a live actions egment at the end with "real" equivalents but the difference is instead of doing the "nothing matters ooo" shit it was specifically about how shit mattered and they did a clever thing where the main antagonist that trapped everything int he weird digital world shit looked like another character that only existed int he weird digital world to basically do a kinda hinting of them not fully hating themselves because that other character was their mandated "best friend".
Like it's one of those "if nothing matters why the fuck did you base them on your real appearance then" type of deals for lack of a better way of putting it. They don't even openly point it out in the dialogue IIRC too it's just a visual implication thing AFTER EVERYTHINGS OVER.

I'm trying to find the ending scene on youtube and can't. Apparentlyt here's been numerous milkings and sequels I missed where the characters that supposedly left came back so eeeeh LOOK I'M GOING ON THE ORIGINAL THING A FRIEND SAT ME DOWN TO WATCH YEARS BACK OKAY MY POINT IS THIS SHIT'S THE OPPOSITE OF THAT IN A WAY THAT RUBS ME THE WRONG FUCKING WAY.

We will never have a "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE" type of situation ever again. Why? Because that would now happen in the boring ass online world instead of some funny recorded IRL freakout.
I think it’s more so that nothing has reached the cultural phenomenon status that Harry Potter had by that point, and really still has if you consider how massive the franchise still is. Snape killing dumbledor was the ultimate climax of a book millions around the world were waiting for. And it happens so late in the book that it effectively ruined several hours of reading, vs this
There's a level of earnesty in how bad those movies are, troonsloop like this you can tell the evil vibes of this being a masturbatory piece made by unstable freaks.

Yeah, all the forced maid outfit merch on their shop shocked me. I avoided this community like a plague and was genuinely appalled by the merch store when Josh and PPP looked at it

I just don't understand how accepting life in the circus is supposed to be a happy ending... they don't really address a lot of the existential questions the characters would inevitably have... or maybe they did idk I'm not Portuguese. But if the answer was to just accept life in the circus, I have to wonder why the previous characters didn't come to that conclusion. I think that would be the obvious thing to do in their situation. Are we saying that Caine was the cause previous characters were unable to find peace in the simulation? Or that the blue AI was? In which case it's quite the choice for the antagonistic force to just be removed so inconsequentially.
This is like if a gnostic was tasked with making pro-demiurge propaganda.
Accepting you're trapped is mature and cool, actually. Be content with playing board games with genderspecials for all eternity.

I'm pretty sure them making everyone brown was a last minute change to do a "take that! we're not racist!" in a manner similar to how homestuck wrote all the characters as white kids but then was like "no no no they're ARACIAL" after people spun hussie as racist and he's never recovered from that.

If you weren't just popping into the thread to quip and rate my post you'd see even if rambling my point was the following:

IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE TO DO A PLOT WHERE PEOPLE AREN'T REAL/ARE TRAPPED IN SOME SIMULATION WITHOUT RESORTING TO NIHILISTIC CURRENT YEAR+13 "NOTHING MATTER" SUBVERSION.
The weebshit a friend sat me through EIGHT FUCKING YEARS AGO did it in a way that made sense, and there's a few others I can think of but that one's the closest ending twist wise sans the cool giant superhero fight.

Just a friendly reminder as per ususal (as silverfox1232 pointed out) that glitch makes its money off of only australian tax dollars via: Screen Australia, but also japanese investors and (of course) vinyl slop, plushies and t-shirts made in sweatshops

The only definitive connections with Screen Australia seem to be funding Meta Runner's production. After that, they figured out a winning formula of achieving self-funding by producing shows that feature female protagonists the mainly-male audience want to fuck and buy merchandise of. I'd like to rag on Glitch taking Australian money and not doing much for Australian industry, but there's just not much substance to it besides a since early 2019/2020s one-off.

I'm not going to A-log, but it's weird to see how a non-insignificant portion of KF users like this show, when the dialogue is genuinely as bad as TCOAL, and the millennial comedy is horrible. PPP's reaction is exaggerated but not without reasons.
It’s a combination of “any port in a storm” and “this show would be so good if it was good”.
